  • Publication number: 20240059972
Abstract: Surface-active compositions with supramolecular structures for industrial, household, agricultural, and oil and gas use include a surfactant, a supramolecular host chemical or a supramolecular guest chemical configured to engage in host-guest chemistry with the surfactant, and a solvent. The surface-active compositions optionally can be substantially free of yeast, or protein extracted from yeast. Methods of increasing wettability of a surface and increasing dispersibility in a fluid by using the surface-active compositions are also described.

  • Publication number: 20220408688
Abstract: A hog trap includes a fence assembly to trap the hog, and a trap door. The hog trap has upper and lower ring assemblies. The ring assemblies include bars extending partway across the top and bottom and spaced inwardly from the outer boundary of the cage to restrict hogs from climbing but provide an escape opening for deer at the top and also to restrict digging under the cage at the bottom. A bottom bar assembly is fixed inwardly of and to a lower ring, and a top bar assembly is fixed inwardly of and to an upper ring. The bottom bar assembly and the top bar assembly extend inwardly from the rings. The upper and lower ring are part of the cage and support the fence and the trap door.

  • Patent number: 5505514
Abstract: A camper/trailer combination including an anterior camper having bedspace, kitchenspace and livingspace, mounted on a wheeled frame which includes a posterior boat or utility trailer. The combination is suitably adapted for towing by a pickup truck, automobile or other vehicle which has a conventional bumper or "gooseneck" trailer hitch mechanism. In one embodiment the utility trailer is adapted for carrying a boat and in another embodiment the utility trailer is modified to define a utility trailer for all terrain vehicles, bicycles, motorcycles and the like.

  • Patent number: 5314263
Abstract: A method of distributing the loads generated between a ship and a supporting dry dock which comprises a platform comprising a number of articulatedly joined sub platforms and connected for lifting/lowering by opposed pairs of hoist winches, comprises moving certain combinations of the sub platforms by activating appropriate hoist winches, so as to alter forces to portions of the ship's hull, which forces may be evenly distributed, or concentrated so as to change the shape of local portions of the ship, or bring into alignment hatches and their covers.

  • Patent number: 5178488
Abstract: A method of assessing a ships weight so as to e.g. assist in its design and development, or to ascertain its actual center of gravity or its loaded state, comprises positioning the ship on a dry dock platform made up of a number of articulatedly joined sub platforms connected for lifting and lowering by hoist winches. The hoist winches include signal devices which signal the load each is supporting, to a computer and visual display unit which displays the loads. The computer computes e.g. the center of gravity or the ships weight, in the displacement of the center of gravity from its designed position, the information then being passed to the designer.

  • Patent number: H205
Abstract: Improved signal to clutter response in a radar is achieved by transmitting broad bandwidth frequency modulated noise pulses. Utilization of millisecond pulse intervals enables the radar video processor to average the independent samples present in each echo pulse so that each pulse represents an estimate of the true average return from the background. The bandwidth of the IF processing circuit is equal to the RF circuit and transmitted pulse bandwidths.
