  • Publication number: 20070020584
Abstract: An improved process for treating teeth using a teeth cover, a treatment agent, and a catalytic source. The cover can be fitted by the wearer, instead of having to go to a dentist, by placing it against the teeth in one or both arches. A treatment agent is placed inside the cover, an external catalytic source catalyzes the agent, and the agent is placed against the teeth for a beneficial treatment. The treatment time is shortened by the process.

  • Patent number: 6231830
Abstract: A method for manufacturing molecular chlorine dioxide, by the addition of potassium iodide to a solution of alkali metal chlorite. The metal chlorite and the potassium iodide are kept separate, until the need for the generation of chlorine dioxide arises—to ensure long-shelf life. After initiation or activation of the chlorite anion to form chlorine dioxide, the beneficial properties of chlorine dioxide can be used, for different health and cosmetic purposes. Such uses include the treatment of herpes, dandruff, acne, skin rashes (e.g. poison ivy), ulcers, bed sores, warts, nail fungus, athletes foot, sun burn and gum disease; and as an antiseptic, disinfectant, and general deodorant form refrigerator sprays to oral mouthrinses.

  • Patent number: 5076791
Abstract: An improved method for bleaching teeth using a pre-formed stock tray of a thermoplastic material with a low-heat melt-index, and a peroxide gel. The tray is custom fitted at home by the wearer, instead of having to go to a dentist. It is placed in boiling water a few seconds to soften, and is adapted snugly over the teeth in one arch. An oxidizing gel of an over-the-counter oral antiseptic is placed inside the tray, which in turn is placed over the teeth. After a period of time the gel is replenished again. This is done several times throughout the day, and continued for 2-3 weeks. The end result being whiter teeth and a new smile.
