  • Patent number: 11186397
Abstract: A method for packaging one or more tobacco-filled boxes (13) in a plastic bag (21) comprises the following steps of—placing the box in a vacuum chamber (3, 5) through an input (7),—closing the vacuum chamber, then evacuating the vacuum chamber and thereafter creating an over-pressure nitrogen atmosphere in the vacuum chamber—putting a bag open at one end around a rectangular guide profile (19) open at both ends, where the other, closed, end of the bag shuts off one of the ends of the rectangular guide profile,—positioning the rectangular guide profile with the end not shut off by the bag in front of a shut off output (9) of the vacuum chamber and coupling the rectangular guide profile in a gas-tight manner to the output of the vacuum chamber,—opening the output of the vacuum chamber and guiding the box into the bag via the rectangular guide profile, and—folding the open end of the bag immediately followed by the sealing of the bag.

  • Publication number: 20210148075
Abstract: An assembly for lifting a payload of an offshore platform is provided. The offshore platform includes a support structure supporting the payload. The payload includes a main deck and a column directly connected to the support structure, the column supporting the main deck. The assembly includes a lower lifting device, having a welding surface weldable to a welding portion of the column and an upper lifting device having a coupling interface adapted to couple to a coupling portion of the payload and a plurality of tension rods, connecting the lower lifting device and the upper lifting device. At least some tension rods of the plurality of tension rods extend for a rod length along a rod direction (X-X) between the lower lifting device and the upper lifting device. At least some tension rods of the plurality of tension rods are pre-tensioned to exert a compressive action to the payload.

  • Publication number: 20160094429
Abstract: A mirrored live-data flow of the live-data flow passing through a selected point within a network is monitored at a first processing node. The live-data flow comprises data that is in active transmission between endpoints in the network and prior to exit from the network and onward storage of the data in a database. Each packet within the mirrored data flow is decoded at the first processing node according to each protocol associated with a packet. Packets having a plurality of protocols associated therewith are decoded in parallel with each other. Each of the decoded packets are compared at the first processing node to a set of predetermined or deduced conditions. A predetermined or deduced response is executed based upon detection of a predetermined or deduced condition within the decoded packets.

  • Publication number: 20150210412
Abstract: In a method for packaging finished tobacco goods in a master box first a PE liner which is foreseen of an EVOH barrier or an Aluminium liner is folded in the master box. This can be done by an automatic machine or manually. In the manual embodiment the liner, already cut on the right sizes including a seal in the bottom, is pulled over a mall which has the same size as the master box. Then the master box is pulled over the mall including the liner. Then the master box including the liner is pulled of the mall and the master box is ready for storage. Next the master box with liner is filled with finished tobacco goods and sachets with oxygen and/or humidity absorbers are placed in the master box. Then the master box is placed in a vacuum room and the pressure in the vacuum room and in the liner and the master box is reduced. Next Nitrogen is injected in the vacuum room and/or the master box. Then the liner and the master box is sealed and the box is closed.
