  • Patent number: 9615674
Abstract: A dispenser is provided for storing and individually dispensing cylindrical containers in a vertical orientation. The dispenser includes an upper chamber having a ramp sloping downward toward a back of the dispenser, which receives the containers loaded in a vertical orientation at a front of the dispenser. The containers move down the upper chamber ramp by gravity to an opening at a back end of the dispenser, through which the containers pass to a lower chamber. The lower chamber has a ramp sloping downward toward the front of the dispenser. The containers move down the lower chamber ramp by gravity to a dispensing position at the front of the dispenser. A latch is positioned at a back portion of the upper chamber to restrict passage of the containers so that they pass through the opening one at a time as containers are removed from the dispensing position.

  • Publication number: 20160092648
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a system and method for a risk management system for use in a health care environment by healthcare practitioners in the creation, recording, and tracking of progress notes. In an embodiment, the system is comprised of an input/output interface for receiving from a user the beginning data elements of a patient, a computing device configured to receive said beginning data elements of said patient and computing for displaying to said user the initial progress note form component, subjective/chief complaint. Based on the initial progress note form component inputs for subjective/chief complaint, said computer computes for displaying to said user the second progress note form component, objective. This is continued for the remaining progress note form components diagnosis/assessment, plans/treatment recommendations, risks/complications, benefits of proposed treatments, alternative treatments, and sequalae of non treatment.

  • Publication number: 20130042384
Abstract: An adjustment mechanism for the hood of a garment is described along with a method of use. The hood is tightened or loosened via pockets located on the torso of the garment. One specific embodiment is a rainwear jacket that includes two front facing pockets located on the chest of the wearer which conceal the endings of a hood cord and, by opening the pockets, the cords may be reversibly tightened and concealed by closing the pockets. The mechanism avoids use of loose toggles or other items that may catch on other objects. The cords are also positioned in a way that allows for easy and wearer visible adjustment.

  • Publication number: 20070205230
Abstract: A fluid dispensing system includes a container, a pump assembly and a bleed valve. The pump assembly is connected to the container selectively pressurizing the container and includes an outlet port. The outlet port has a check valve precluding flow from the container through the outlet port. The bleed valve is in communication with an aperture formed through the container. • Publication number: 20070175928
Abstract: A fluid dispensing system includes a pump assembly for pressurizing a low cost container, the container non reversibly connected to a coupler module. A wand assembly is releasably connected to the coupler module. A discharge conduit fluidly connects the wand assembly to the container to displace a check valve in the pump assembly to permit flow from the pump assembly. The wand assembly includes a grip body slideable relative to the discharge conduit between a retracted storage position and an extended operable position.

  • Publication number: 20070158601
Abstract: A rod and orifice mechanical fluid flow control valve for controlling fluid flow between two or more fluid pressure areas. In another aspect, a rod and orifice mechanical fluid flow control valve for controlling or restricting the motion of two fluid pressure areas or physical structures. A motion restricting embodiment is described in detail, namely an automotive shock absorber. In another aspect, the rod in a rod and orifice mechanical fluid flow control valve is adjustable and configurable for a given application. In yet another aspect, the cross section of the rod in a rod and orifice mechanical fluid flow control valve is of a rectangular shape.

  • Publication number: 20060240746
Abstract: A gear shaper machine system drives and maneuvers a hone tool to generate teeth geometry in a manner the teeth were machined prior to a hardening process. After heat treatment, the hone tool is indexed to the teeth geometry spacing of the workpiece so as to divide the stock removal evenly between the drive and coast sides. The hone tool may be driven with rotational and reciprocating synchronous teeth generating motion in which the hone tool reciprocates along the length of the teeth parallel to the centerline of the workpiece while the workpiece and hone tool rotate with synchronous motion.

  • Publication number: 20050210950
Abstract: A method for draw forming a desired contour to the outer diameter of a tubular work piece provides that the selected work piece have a wall thickness uniform throughout its length. The outer diameter of selected work piece is reduced along essentially only a part of the starting metal blank by drawing the metal blank only partly through a die or only partly through each one of a succession of dies. The resulting drawn reduced diameter will have essentially the same wall thickness as the starting blank. If a thinner wall thickness is desired on the reduced outside diameter, an internal mandrel can be inserted in the starting tube, which will work with the draw die to decrease the resulting wall thickness of the drawn tube to an amount less than the starting tube. The workpiece recovered after the drawing method is useful for producing an automotive fuel tank filler tube or an automotive instrument panel support beam.

  • Patent number: 6561438
Abstract: A low pressure foaming nozzle assembly having a modular construction for permitting the ready interchange of nozzle tips. The foaming nozzle assembly may be constructed of two pieces, with a first configuration employing a flow body and an engaging nozzle tip and a second configuration employing a pair of mating halves, wherein each mating half includes a portion of a venturi, a throat and a nozzle tip. The assembly cooperatively engages a foaming liquid source such as a wand, and upon pressure on the foaming liquid source, a foam is generated.

  • Patent number: 5288267
Abstract: A work station unit for use in an array including at least one work space defined in part by intersecting side walls. The unit comprises an air circulation unit mounted on at least one side wall of the work space, at a location proximate the intersection. An air inlet on the unit draws ambient air into the unit and an air discharge discharges air in a predetermined controlled direction to cooperatively form an envelope of air surrounding a space defined in part by the side walls and in part by air flow out of the discharge and into the air inlet. An individual in the work station is enclosed in air having superior quality to ambient air.

  • Patent number: 5065668
Abstract: An apparatus for use with a multi-station workspacae including a predetermined number of core walls which define an enclosed core. The core walls include an inlet at or below a predetermined height. The apparatus includes a platform positioned in the core at a location above the predetermined height substantially separating the core into a lower air intake chamber and an upper air discharge chamber. The platform further includes a filter in the lower chamber and a blowers drawing air from the intake chamber through the filter to the upper chamber. Finally, a core lid is positioned at the top of the core and includes air discharge vents.
