    Abstract: In a motor saw with an engine unit separated from a handle system by devibration elements, difficulties arise by in the use of a link system of iron plate or lever elements in performing a movement transfer without "backlash" etc. As a consequence thereof there is an involuntary speeding of the engine, great inherent moving play, propagation of vibrations between the carburetor and the finger grip, and sizing of elements adapted to every saw model. The invention eliminates these inconveniences by introducing a gear-driven, flexible shaft, e.g. a tightly wound helical spring which can transfer movements to the throttle by turning. The influence of relative movements between the engine and the handles can thus be eliminated.

    Abstract: An automatic brake operating device to be used on a motor chain saw provided with a clutch drum around which there is a pretensioned brake band. By use of a spring and a toggle joint the band can be switched between a free position and a braking position. The toggle joint is operated between two corresponding positions by an inertia mass for releasing and a stirrup for resetting. The mass and the stirrup are individually movable and capable of triggering the brake independent of each other.

    Abstract: A regulating arrangement for internal combustion engine-driven tools, such as power saws of the type provided with a handle piece, from the one side of which a finger grip projects connected to the throttle valve of the engine and from the other side of which a middle hand grip and a thumb grip project. The middle hand grip, when the tool is in use, is adapted to release a lock for the finger grip preventing an unintentional opening of the throttle, while the thumb grip is adapted to make it possible to hold the finger grip in a middle position. The middle hand grip and the thumb grip include a common hooking piece, which includes a number of fingers projecting from a rear support of the same, one of said fingers including a forwardly directed hook and the other a backwardly directed dog, which selectively can be brought into engagement and disengagement with a projection on the finger grip.
