  • Patent number: 7331903
Abstract: A trampoline (10) includes a base frame (14) having a substantially non-rectangular perimeter region (38), a bed suspension assembly (16) and a bed (12). The bed (12) is coupled to the base frame (14) with the bed suspension assembly (16). Further, the bed (12) includes a first pair of substantially parallel sides (34A, 34B). For example, the bed (12) can be rectangular in shape, or can include a second pair of arc-shaped sides (36A, 36B). The perimeter region (38) can be substantially oval-shaped or circular-shaped. The trampoline (10) can also include one or more side sections (18, 22) and one or more side suspensions (20, 24) that couple the side sections (18, 22) to the base frame (14). In one embodiment, the side sections (18, 22) each include an inner side (54, 58) that is substantially linear and an outer side (56, 60) that is substantially arc-shaped.

  • Patent number: 7216730
Abstract: Driving system for a an industrial truck with a combustion engine, a two-branch gear transmission whose first shaft is coupled to the combustion engine, whose second shaft is coupled to a change-over transmission, whose outlet acts on the driven wheels of the industrial truck via a collecting transmission, an electric transmission of which a first electric machine cooperates therewith, with respect to the torque, using the two-branch gear transmission, and a second electric machine is coupled via at least one collecting transmission to the driven wheels, the two-branch gear transmission producing a constant torque ratio between the first electric machine and at least the first and second shaft and an electrical circuit arrangement electrically coupling the electric machines and being connected to an electric accumulator, two mechanical hydraulic converters of which one is coupled to the first or second shaft of the two-branch gear transmission and the second to the electric transmission, and devices for the

  • Patent number: 6135922
Abstract: An attachment for a circular trampoline includes four backstops that are attached to the base frame of the trampoline. Each backstop includes a backstop bed, which is attached to an arch-shaped backstop frame with a suspension system. Each backstop is mounted to the base frame and extends upwardly and outwardly from the base bed. An apex of each backstop is positioned over the base frame. With this configuration, the backstops surround the user within a court-like protected area and help to prevent the user from falling off of the trampoline. Additionally, four aprons can be attached to the base bed near its perimeter and to a respective backstop frame to prevent the user of the trampoline from stepping on or hitting the base springs and/or the base trampoline frame. The attachment converts a round trampoline bed into a functionally rectangular bed in appearance to the user and provides the same reference point benefits of a rectangular trampoline bed.

  • Patent number: 5713821
Abstract: A portable exercise device for use by a human in a seated position in a seat is provided herein. The exercise device includes a pair of grips, a flexible member interconnecting the grips, a pivot and a connector. Each of the grips is suitable for interacting with a human hand or foot. The pivot, i.e., a roller contacts the flexible member and allows for movement of flexible member over the pivot. The connector retains the pivot proximate the human while the human is in the seated position. The connector is typically attached to a seatbelt and exercise device functions somewhat similar to a stationary cycle. Alternately, the connector is attached to one of the feet of the human and the exercise device is useful for exercising the upper body of the human. A tubular housing can be used for positioning the pivot above the seat and storing the grips, flexible member, pivot and connector when the exercise device is not in use.
