Abstract: An L-shaped bracket including a tubular lower horizontal leg and a tubular upstanding leg with an inner corner gusset structure secured between the horizontal and upstanding legs. The upstanding leg includes structure for releasably rigidly securing the lower end of an upright railing post therefrom and the tubular horizontal leg receives a threaded shank-type fastener therethrough for threaded engagement in a building structure anchored outwardly opening threaded socket member against which the end of the tubular horizontal leg remote from the upstanding leg is tightly endwise abutted.
