  • Patent number: 5562237
Abstract: A trousers hanger of the type having two integrally formed legs disposed at an acute angle which form an open end through which trousers can be easily mounted over one leg of the hanger. The other side of the hanger includes a hook end adapted to permit the hanger to be hung from a clothing rod or the like. The lower leg which accepts a pair of trousers includes a pair of spaced, linearly extending gripping bars overlying significant length portions of the lower leg and are resiliently biased in a closely spaced relationship to an upper edge of the lower ledge for engaging a pair of trousers placed between the gripping bars and lower leg in a manner which tends to hold the trousers in a slightly taunt, unwrinkled condition. The confronting inner ends of each gripping bar are spaced from one another and include an upturned edge to facilitate mounting an edge of the trousers under each gripping bar.

  • Patent number: 4809437
Abstract: A manual cutting device for severing generally planar food stuffs, such as pizza, which is characterized by an elongate handle provided with a removably mounted, circular cutting blade rotatably mounted to the handle. A removably mounted pivot pin is provided which is releasably locked through aligned openings in the handle and the circular cutting blade to permit easy assembly and dis-assembly of the handle and cutting blade for cleaning purposes.

  • Patent number: 4763438
Abstract: A portable live bait container for use by anglers to transport and facilitate use of live bait such as minnows or shrimp or the like. The container includes an outer impervious enclosure provided with a supporting carrying handle and an open top and an inner shell of similar configuration which is slideably and removably mounted through the open top into the outer enclosure. The inner shell is provided with a handle support for vertically raising the inner shell out of the outer shell and includes side walls which are impervious to water and a bottom wall which is provided with openings for the ingress or egress of water. In addition, the bottom wall is provided with a centrally disposed bowl-like portion tending to entrap live bait and a small amount of water therein when the inner portion is raised above the surrounding water level.

  • Patent number: 4108181
Abstract: The invention contemplates a disposable, self-contained, battery-operated cautery featuring a finger-grasping end which is of substantially reduced diameter as compared with the battery-containing body portion of the device. Such reduced finger-grasping proportions enable facile and precise manipulation of a cauterizing tip, and a switch actuator carried at the finger-grasping end further facilitates manipulation. The switch actuator is of such low profile as to be fully encased and protected when a protective cover is telescopically assembled over the tip end of the cautery.

  • Patent number: 4053135
Abstract: The invention contemplates a single-piece injection-molded plastic hose clamp which may be made, shipped and stored flat and yet which, in assembly to a flexible hose may be applied to squeeze and effectively shut off flow through the hose in a one-handed shut-off operation wherein the shut-off condition is releasably locked. A hinged locking member on one arm of the clamp includes a bracket which, in reaction to the squeezing action to set the clamp, operates as a bellcrank to elevate the locking member to position for automatic resiliently loaded self-latching engagement with a coacting locking member on the other arm of the clamp.
