    Abstract: There is disclosed an absorbent beauty coil comprising an absorbent core and a non-retentive cover, which beauty coil exhibits increased absorbency of permanent waving solution and other fluids before dripping. Wicking action at the interface of the cover and the core draws fluid to unsaturated areas, thereby preventing dripping at saturated areas of the coil.
