Publication number: 20200085692Abstract: A single-use nesting cup for use with mechanical comminution devices having a spinning drive mechanism for pulverizing pills into powder is disclosed. Each cup has a textured base surface that provides for a more efficient grinding and crushing of pills inserted between two such cups when an upper cup is spinningly brought to bear down on a bottom cup. The textured surface of each cup base has a symmetric three-dimensional wave design with each wave arcing along a curve from an outer cylindrical wall of the cup spiraling in toward a center point of the base of each cup. The crest and troughs of each wave act as grinding edges while the overall symmetric wave design acts to maintain the one or more pills and it's powdered form in the center of the bottom cup.Type: ApplicationFiled: November 20, 2019Publication date: March 19, 2020Inventors: Fredrick Maroon Dominy, John Alan Enns, Jill Enns, Aaron Edward Fader, Tima Fader, Trent George Reynolds

Publication number: 20140230642Abstract: Certain embodiments disclose rate reducer systems and methods to reduce the cyclic rate of self-powered firearms. The reduction in cyclic rate is achieved by mechanically delaying the firing step in the cycle of functioning. This delay is achieved by temporarily latching an inertia weight at the rear of the recoil stroke while the recoiling parts return to battery (i.e. a firing position). When the recoiling parts go into battery, the inertia weight is released and urged forward. At the forward end of its travel, the inertia weight actuates the firing mechanism.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 15, 2013Publication date: August 21, 2014Applicants: George L. Reynolds, S. Patent number: 8671546Abstract: A refiner plate carrier for use in refining lignocellulosic material including a mounting mechanism for mounting to a refiner plate segment and not a rotor or stator disk. The combined plate carrier and refiner plate segment may be then attached to a refiner disk. The refiner plate carrier need not provide structural support to the segment during lignocellulosic refining.Type: GrantFiled: November 3, 2011Date of Patent: March 18, 2014Assignee: Andritz Inc.Inventors: Luc Gingras, George Reynolds

Publication number: 20140012091Abstract: A system for evaluating the dynamic wellness (vitality) of a person includes a processor, a memory communicatively coupled to the processor, a database stored within the memory, a holome construction module, and a functional zone assessment module. The holome construction module includes instructions stored in the memory, that when executed by the processor, perform the functions of (1) receiving personal data representing one or more physical attributes of the person, and (2) storing the personal data as a holome in the database. The functional zone assessment module includes instructions stored in the memory, that when executed by the processor, perform the function of evaluating dynamics of the holome to determine whether each of one or more somatic systems of the person are in a compensated state.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 3, 2012Publication date: January 9, 2014Inventor: David George Reynolds
