An exemplary content monitor comprises a plug-in application configured to initiate the monitoring of a network for one or more parameters over an extended time period. A mechanism is provided for notifying users about content monitoring results immediately after the one or more parameters are found on the network. Exemplary methods of the content monitor include a method for content monitoring comprising the entering of one or more parameters and monitoring the network for the one or more parameters over an extended time period.

Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods for managed e-community trading environments are provided. The system comprises one or more networked users; an e-community administrator configured to monitor the users; and an e-community server configured to allow the users to interact over the network. Exemplary methods of the present invention include establishing a network user as an e-community administrator; the e-community administrator determining a log-in and password or registration process for the e-community and allowing members to join the e-community and interact with other e-community members. Other embodiments of the method include authenticating the members of the e-community, monitoring at least some of the members' communications over the e-community, and performing product queries.

Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods for e-commerce with direct access to real-time inventory are provided. The system comprises an e-commerce module at a customer site configured to create a product query. The system also comprises a corresponding e-commerce module at one or more vendor sites configured to review the product query and allow access to the coupled inventory database via an open database connection. Because the query is directly into the inventory database of the vendor, product information is in real-time. The request product information is returned to the customer via the customer e-commerce module.

Abstract: Exemplary systems and methods for managing communications in an e-commerce trading environment are provided. The system comprises an e-commerce module configured to create a communication packet and an e-commerce server configured to obtain and monitor a copy of the communication packet. The monitoring may comprising searching for a particular transaction embodied within the copy of the communication packet in order to review details of the transaction. Alternatively, the monitoring may comprise generate a statistical report based on characteristics of the transactions.
