    Abstract: A device with embedded intrusion detection includes a housing, a first processing circuit configured to perform one or more functions, a communication path configured to communicate data between the first processing circuit and one or more other components, and a second processing circuit. The second processing circuit is configured to monitor the data transmitted on the communication path, determine whether the device is in a compromised state based on the monitored data, and initiate a corrective action responsive to a determination that the device is in the compromised state. The first processing circuit and the second processing circuit are contained within the housing.
