  • Patent number: 8955096
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for filtering Internet access may include: 1) identifying a domain-name-system request from a client system, 2) identifying a filtering policy for the client system, 3) bundling the filtering policy with the domain-name-system request, and then 4) forwarding the bundled domain-name-system request to a domain-name-system server. Various other methods and systems are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8694659
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for enhancing domain-name-server responses may include: 1) receiving a domain-name-system request, 2) identifying a domain of the domain-name-system request, 3) retrieving classification information relating to the domain from a third-party system, and 4) including the classification information in a response to the domain-name-system request. Various other methods, systems, and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 8190757
Abstract: A system for automatically binding client-side applications with backend services is disclosed. This system may comprise a client device programmed to request, on behalf of a user, a client-side application and a backend service programmed to: 1) identify a client account associated with the user, 2) identify authentication credentials associated with the client account, 3) dynamically inject, in response to the request, the authentication credentials into the client-side application, and 4) provide the injected client-side application to the client device. Corresponding computer-implemented methods and computer-readable media are also disclosed.

  • Patent number: 7578336
Abstract: A casting mold and method for its use to achieve in-mold modification of the casting metal is disclosed. One or more chambers are located within the casting mold's runner system. Each chamber can contain metallurgical modifiers for adjusting the chemical composition of the metal to improve the mechanical and physical properties of an article cast from the metal. One or more modifiers can be placed in the chamber(s) as the casting mold is assembled for use. As the melt is introduced to the casting mold, it passes through the chamber(s) and liquefies the modifier. Amounts of the liquid modifier, then, are carried away and become dispersed in the melt as it continues through the runner system and into the mold cavity. The metallurgical modifiers can be selected from any number of known additives or alloying elements, including strontium, among others.
