  • Patent number: 4364461
Abstract: A parking indicator for motor vehicles comprises a channel for the insertion of a value strip and time indicators which are not adjustable when the value strip has been inserted into the channel. In order to prevent the value strip from being withdrawn from the channel without being damaged, the value strip is provided with teeth mating with a toothed wheel arranged in the channel, the toothed wheel being rotatable only in the direction of insertion of the value strip, thus forming locking structure retaining the value strip.

  • Patent number: 3998307
Abstract: A parking indicator can be adjusted to assume at least an inoperative position or condition, the presence of which indicates lack of parking permission. Change-over from a condition which does not indicate parking permission, i.e. an operative condition or position, into the inoperative condition and back again, results in the destruction or loss of at least one value symbol. A time indicator is provided in order to indicate the time when parking commences. The time indicator is adjustable only when the parking indicator is in an inoperative condition or while it is being brought into this condition.
