  • Patent number: 6455119
Abstract: A multi-ply label structure is especially, although not necessarily, adapted for affixation to a vessel. The multi-ply label is intended to protect a game piece, coupon, or other material from moisture and other detrimental external environments before affixation to the vessel. As a result, the bottle can be immersed in water for an extended period without destroying the integrity of the label structure.

  • Patent number: 4438896
Abstract: The present invention utilizes a segmented collar formed from at least three collar segments, which are placed in end-to-end relationship to form a circular collar having a central opening therein for receiving a surveyor's stake. The collar segments are secured together by bolts extending through flanges at the adjacent ends of the collar segments. The tripod includes three legs, the upper ends of which are secured between the adjacent flanges of the collar segments. The bolts extending through the adjacent flanges and through the upper ends of the tripod legs are adjustable to tighten and loosen the hinged connection of the legs to the collar. Thumb screws extend through each of the collar segments for threadable movement inwardly toward the surveyor's stake located within the stake receiving opening.

  • Patent number: 4356637
Abstract: A device for holding a surveyor's range pole in a vertical position. The pole is held rigid relative to a tripod base by a single bracket. The bracket is seated on the apex of the tripod and includes a collar member attached to an underlying three channel frame. Three horizontally disposed screws thread through the three channeled frame to mutually engage a range pole at the center of the collar.Additionally, an extension arm may be secured to the top of the collar by means of an overlying pressure plate. The extension arm lies between two upright screws which pass through the pressure plate, and pressure is exerted on the extension arm by tightening wing nuts over the screws. The range pole is secured beyond the rim of the collar by passing it through a teardrop shaped aperture in the extension arm and pressing the pole against the edges of the teardrop shaped aperture by an adjustable screw threaded through the extension arm.

  • Patent number: 4339880
Abstract: The device of the present invention comprises a tripod having a platform at its top and three legs pivotally connected at their upper ends to the platform member and diverging downwardly and outwardly therefrom. Three connecting members interconnect the lower ends of the tripod legs. A stake holding means is provided on the tripod and includes an upper bracket connected to the tripod platform and a lower bracket connected to one of the connecting members. The upper and lower brackets each have an opening therein, and the openings of the two brackets are vertically registered for receiving a surveyor's stake. A range pole adapter is adjustably mounted on the upper end of the surveyor's stake and is adapted to hold the surveyor's prism or other instrument.

  • Patent number: 4149516
Abstract: The grill body is an integral member, preferably made of microcrystalline glass and formed with opposed series of corresponding pairs of upwardly opening saddles at each of two different intermediate levels in two opposed sidewalls. Each pair of saddles receives the opposite ends of a metal bar or the like, to provide two levels of support bars. Preferably, the support bars at each level are not interconnected by cross-bars so they may be removed, cleaned and even replaced individually. Particular gas burner and electric heating element constructions are illustrated.
