    Abstract: A set of golf clubs is provided with shafts that have a bend formed by three shaft segments. The second shaft segment connects the first and third shaft segments and offsets the third shaft segment from the first shaft segment, wherein the third shaft segment is on a line parallel to a line extending along the first shaft segment. Shafts offset as described are attached to a set of golf club heads such that the offset shafts are positioned in a forward offset position in front of the impact surface of the golf club head with the degree of forward offset increasing with the increasing club number of the club heads of the set. The overall degree of offset can be increased or decreased based on the skill of the golfer using the clubs.
