  • Patent number: 11942937
Abstract: Pulse-generator-based reciprocal quantum logic (RQL) bias-level sensors are fabricated on an RQL integrated circuit (IC) to sample AC or DC bias values provided to operational RQL circuitry on the RQL IC. The bias-level sensors include pulse generators having strengthened or weakened bias taps (transformer couplings to RQL AC clock resonators or DC bias lines) as compared to bias taps of Josephson transmission lines in the operational RQL circuitry, or Josephson junctions (JJs) with larger or smaller critical currents as compared to JJs in the operational RQL circuitry. Pulse generators with weakened bias taps or larger JJs can have lower limits of their operational ranges placed near an optimal bias point at the centroid of the operating region of the operational RQL circuitry. The bias-level sensors can be staged by relative strength to indicate whether a provided bias value is an improvement when varied over a range.

  • Publication number: 20240077276
Abstract: An airgun has a high pressure reservoir for providing a pressurized motive gas to a breech to fire a projectile. A regulator is intermediate the high pressure reservoir and a downstream firing pressure reservoir for providing a consistent regulated pressure of the motive gas in the firing pressure reservoir. The airgun includes a bypass line for selectively connecting the high pressure reservoir to the firing pressure reservoir, independently of the regulator. Thus, an operator can select a firing of the airgun with either a regulated gas pressure in the firing reservoir or the pressure of the high pressure reservoir.

  • Publication number: 20240011733
Abstract: An arrow gun is provided having a controllable retention force on the arrow. By setting the retention force on the arrow, increased energy from motive compressed gas can be imparted to the arrow. The arrow gun also includes a damping coupling for reducing vibration of an unsupported length of the barrel.

  • Patent number: 11850914
Abstract: Methods and systems for conveying or operationalizing data from a transport climate control system (TCCS) that provides climate control within an internal space moved by a vehicle are disclosed. A method includes determining, by a controller of the TCCS, a set of TCCS operational measurements; obtaining, by the controller, a set of TCCS operational settings; determining, by the controller, a set of cargo measurements; creating a shipment performance log based on the set of TCCS operational measurements, the set of TCCS operational settings, and the set of cargo measurements; publishing the shipment performance log to a data repository; and retrieving the shipment performance log to facilitate disposition of goods in the internal space.

  • Patent number: 11707351
Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for protecting the cerebrovascular circulation from embolic debris released during an index procedure. An embolic protection filter is delivered in a reduced profile configuration via an access catheter, and positioned in the aorta spanning the ostia to the three great vessels leading to the cerebral circulation. An index procedure catheter is thereafter advanced through the same access catheter to conduct the index procedure. The index procedure may be a transcatheter aortic valve replacement. A pore distribution in the filter blocks passage of debris greater than a predetermined threshold, minimizes total cumulative volume of debris passing through the filter and minimizes blood pressure drop across the filter.

  • Publication number: 20230190820
Abstract: The invention generally relates to cells and compositions comprising same for use in cell therapy, to methods of obtaining same, and to use of same in cell therapy. In one aspect, the invention provides a method for forming a cell composition from a tissue sample, the method comprising: providing a tissue sample comprising cells; contacting the sample with a polymer in binding conditions, said binding conditions being conditions that enable binding of cells in the sample to the polymer, so that said cells are bound to the polymer; culturing the cells bound to the polymer under conditions and for a time that allows the cell number to increase; providing conditions to induce a phase change of the polymer; thereby forming a cell composition from a tissue sample.

  • Patent number: 11677156
Abstract: An antenna integrated in a device package is formed such that at least a portion of the antenna is elevated with respect to a substrate of the device package. The entire antenna and its functionality are positioned within a space extending vertically upwardly from a footprint of the substrate that contains circuitry of the device. The boundary of the space is defined by the perimeter of an over mold positioned on the substrate and encapsulating the circuitry.

  • Publication number: 20230070800
Abstract: An intravascular filter for blocking passage of embolic debris into the cerebral and aortic circulation upon removal of the cross clamp from the aorta during open heart surgery. The filter comprises a self expandable tubular wire frame, having a proximal end, a distal end and a lumen defined within a tubular sidewall. A tubular porous membrane is carried by the sidewall and extends across the proximal or distal end, so that debris entering the other end can be captured within the lumen, the membrane having a distribution of pore sizes. A control wire extends proximally from the filter. In use, the aorta may be cross clamped over the control wire or over the filter. Following removal of the cross clamp, blood is allowed to perfuse through the membrane in the direction of the descending aorta while retaining embolic debris therein for subsequent removal, and the filter and debris may be proximally retracted using the control wire.
