  • Publication number: 20250091395
Abstract: An articulating tire valve install-removal tool and related methods for use. The articulating tire valve install-removal tool has a body comprising an outer perimeter, an inner recess, a threaded member, a linkage and a contact member. The articulating tire valve install-removal tool components are connected to each other and secured within the body so one or more components can rotate around one or more axes. Together these components facilitate in the valve being installed and removed perpendicular or generally perpendicular to the valve hole on the wheel. The articulating tire valve stem tool includes a linkage assembly that is attached to the body to facilitate in ensuring the valve is installed and removed with the valve perpendicular to the valve hole in the wheel rim.

  • Publication number: 20240364342
Abstract: A method of detecting and mitigating an SEL is provided. The method includes measuring a current of a first circuit block of a semiconductor device and determining that the measured current exceeds a first threshold. In response to the measured current exceeding the first threshold, a supply voltage of the first circuit block is reduced from a nominal voltage value to a predetermined voltage value. After reducing the supply voltage to the predetermined voltage value, the supply voltage is restored to the nominal voltage value.

  • Patent number: 10509140
Abstract: The shape and size of a borehole may be characterized downhole, using measurements of the borehole shape in conjunction with a catalog of shapes against which the measured shape is matched. A unique identifier for the measured borehole shape, and optionally a size parameter, may be transmitted to a surface facility, generally saving bandwidth compared with the transmission of the raw measured borehole-shape data. Alternatively or additionally, downhole measurements may be adjusted based on the measured shape.

  • Patent number: 9860773
Abstract: A thermal finite-state-automaton includes system states and transitions between the system states. The system states may be based on a combination of network parameters for communicating through the wireless communication system and UE processing parameters. A default state is for operation of the UE at a sustainable performance configuration level for the network parameters and the UE processing parameters to maintain a UE temperature below a first temperature threshold. A high state is for operation of the UE during up to a maximum time duration at a peak performance configuration level for the network parameters and the UE processing parameters. A recovery state is for operation of the UE during at least a minimum time duration at a reduced performance configuration level for the network parameters and the UE processing parameters. An emergency shutdown state is triggerable by the UE temperature exceeding a second temperature threshold.

  • Publication number: 20170144858
Abstract: The disclosed herein relates to automatically updating a first controller application in a component of an automated passenger conveying device. To perform this automatic update, the automated passenger conveying device is disabled from providing service; a switchover is performed from the first controller application to a second controller application; and a post-switchover inspection is performed of the second controller application, where the post-switchover inspection determines whether the automated passenger conveying device works properly while the second controller application is active. The automated passenger conveying device is enabled to provide the service when the post-switchover inspection of the second controller application determines that the automated passenger conveying device works properly.
