  • Publication number: 20100253567
Abstract: Device, system and method of protecting aircrafts against incoming threats. For example, a system for protecting an aircraft against an incoming threat includes: one or more electro-optic sensors to substantially continuously search for the incoming threat, and to generate a signal indicating that a possible incoming threat is detected; one or more radar sensors to be activated in response to the signal, and to search for the incoming threat; and a central computer to determine whether or not the incoming threat exists, based on a sensor fusion algorithm able to fuse data received from the one or more electro-optic sensors and data received from the one or more radar sensors.

  • Patent number: 7540106
Abstract: An article is proposed for display of pictures, images, messages, illumination patterns, etc. placed on outer and inner surfaces of a cube-shaped structure comprising six sides, the adjacent sides are hingedly joined providing for conversion of the structure from a folded cubical state into an unfolded flat state, forming a flat cross-shaped figure, and vice-versa, first fasteners engaging the sides in the folded state and disengaging in the unfolded state, a brace providing a desirable position for the cross-shaped figure, second fasteners engaging and disengaging the cross-shaped figure with the brace, wherein only the outer surfaces are displayed in the folded state, and at least the inner surfaces are displayed in the unfolded state. Embodiments include different types of illumination, means for placement of the pictures on the surfaces, designs of the brace and fasteners. Some embodiments are usable as a Christmas tree cube and as a crucifixion after Christmas.

  • Patent number: 4077066
Abstract: The garment parts hereof, namely the garment placket, collar and cuffs, have a smooth, neat appearance, obviating the need even for touch-up ironing, and thus are particularly suitable for wash-and-wear promotion. Moreover, the fabric for these parts, although not possessing "recoverable" stretch and thus heretofore unsuitable for my prior patented sewing technique for achieving pucker-free seams (U.S. Pat. No. 3,453,662), are now adapted to be sewn so as to provide the patented result noted. To a significant extent, this desired wash-and-wear performance is achieved by an artificially created "recoverable" stretch in the lining fabric.
