  • Patent number: 11943004
Abstract: A method for operating a wireline communication device on a wireless communication network includes (a) receiving a downlink radio frequency (RF) electrical signal at a first connector, (b) converting the downlink RF electrical signal to a downlink access signal having a format that is compatible with the wireline communication device, and (c) providing the downlink access signal to a second connector for transporting to the wireline communication device. A method for extending a wireline communication network includes (a) receiving a downlink wireline signal at a node of the wireline communication network, (b) converting the downlink wireline signal to a downlink RF electrical signal, and (c) converting the downlink RF electrical signal to a downlink wireless signal, for transmission to one or more communication devices which are not physically connected to the wireline communication network.

  • Publication number: 20160037469
Abstract: A mobile device includes a memory, a wireless communication module, and a programmable processor operatively coupled together. The wireless communication module is configured to communicate within an ad hoc network with other mobile devices by wireless broadcasting. The programmable processor is instructed by computer executable code to: initiate an ad hoc network by self-identifying as a host device; receive requests to join the ad hoc network from participating mobile devices; assign a unique identifier to each of the host device and the participating mobile devices, the unique identifiers identifying the host device and the participating mobile devices as network participants; distribute to the participating mobile devices a list of the network participants, the list including the assigned unique identifiers; confirm receipt of the participant list by each of the participating mobile devices; and designate to the participating mobile devices a data exchange protocol for the ad hoc network.

  • Patent number: 4113186
Abstract: A system for treating rubber tires which reduces the tires to a particulate agglomeration wherein cord and rubber matter therein can be separated. A further treating of those rubber particles reduces them to screen size. The system requires the steps of: (a) initially debeading the tire; (b) cutting the tire into chunks; (c) regulating the quantity of chunks as they pass through the system; (d) grinding the tire in a high intensity mixer; (e) passing the grind to a hammer mill to loosen the rubber and the cord from one another; (f) separating the rubber particles out in a separator, and (g) then grinding the rubber particles to a size of about 30 to 100 mesh as a final product. Oversized pieces of rubber discharged from the separator near the end of the system would be returned to the high intensity mixer.
