  • Patent number: 12141199
Abstract: A system and methodology provide for annotating videos with entities and associated probabilities of existence of the entities within video frames. A computer-implemented method identifies an entity from a plurality of entities identifying characteristics of video items. The computer-implemented method selects a set of features correlated with the entity based on a value of a feature of a plurality of features, determines a classifier for the entity using the set of features, and determines an aggregation calibration function for the entity based on the set of features. The computer-implemented method selects a video frame from a video item, where the video frame having associated features, and determines a probability of existence of the entity based on the associated features using the classifier and the aggregation calibration function.

  • Patent number: 12123867
Abstract: Systems and methods for inserting a single pore into a membrane are described herein. A stepped or ramped voltage waveform can be applied across the membranes of the cells of an array, where the voltage waveform starts at first voltage and increases in magnitude over a period of time to a second voltage. The first voltage is selected to be low enough to reduce the risk of damaging the membrane, while the rate of voltage increase is selected to provide sufficient time for the pores to insert into the membranes. Once a pore is inserted into the membrane, the voltage across the membrane rapidly drops, thereby reducing the risk of damaging the membrane even if the applied voltage between the electrodes is further increased.

  • Patent number: 12126550
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. An access point (AP) may transmit, to a second AP and during a first portion of a transmission opportunity (TxOP), a request to participate in a multi-user (MU) transmission. The AP may receive, from the second AP and during the first portion of the TxOP, an indication of intent to participate in the MU transmission during the second portion of the TxOP, the indication of intent including a resource request of the second AP for participation in the MU transmission. The AP may transmit, during an initial period of the second portion of the TxOP, a trigger signal to the second AP indicating a set of one or more resources for the second AP during the MU transmission. The AP may participate, in conjunction with the second AP and during the second portion of the TxOP, in the MU transmission.

  • Patent number: 12093838
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a method, system, and computer program product for efficient execution of a decision tree. According to the method, respective target values of a plurality of attributes of a target entity are obtained. Representations of a plurality of leaf nodes of a decision tree are obtained. Each of the representations indicates respective statistic values of a plurality of attributes of historical entities and a statistic prediction result determined from historical prediction results output at a respective one of the plurality of leaf nodes for the historical entities. Distance measures between the target entity and the plurality of leaf nodes are determined based on the target values and the statistic values indicated by the representations of the plurality of leaf nodes. A target prediction result for the target entity is determined based on the distance measures and the statistic prediction results of the historical entities.

  • Publication number: 20240282100
Abstract: The disclosed technology is generally directed to downlink prioritization of on-orbit spaceborne data. In one example of the technology, image metadata and raw image data obtained from sensors on the constrained-environment device are stored. The raw image data includes a plurality of images. A plurality of images tiles is provided such that the plurality of images tiles includes, for each image of the plurality of images, evenly-spaced portions of the image. Via an embedding-generation model, a plurality of embeddings is generated based on the plurality of image tiles. The plurality of embeddings is used to perform a prioritization of image tiles among the plurality of image tiles. During a downlink session from the constrained-environment device, image tiles from among the plurality of image tiles are downlinked based, at least in part, on the prioritization.

  • Patent number: 12067572
Abstract: A method for detecting and tracking tainted cryptographic wallets. The method measures a wallet's propensity to engage in criminal or suspicious activity. Naturally, transacting with a criminal is tantamount either to funding crime or laundering its proceeds, so it is in our collective interest to identify—and then monitor or quarantine—any wallet with criminal association. The method also automatically flags risky withdrawal requests in real-time for further review before committing them to the blockchain. In some embodiments, the exchange can quarantine wallets at a certain Walletscore.

  • Publication number: 20240259059
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first wireless device (e.g., station (STA), access point (AP)) may transmit to a second wireless device during a service period, an initiating frame using a transmit beam that is based on a first beam training procedure performed between the devices prior to the service period. The first wireless device may perform a second beam training procedure during the service period based on an absence of a response frame from the second wireless device, based on an indication within the response frame received from the second wireless device, or based on identification of a change in a wireless channel relative to a previous beam training interval or previous service period. The first wireless device may then communicate one or more messages with the second wireless device using one or more beams that are based on the second beam training procedure.
