Publication number: 20240127284Abstract: A system and method for attributing in-store visits to exposure to advertisement (“ad”) impressions associated with an ad campaign are disclosed. The system gathers impression data and uses that data to identify users who were exposed to the ad impressions. The system then uses location data, activity information and in some instances beacon data points reported by mobile devices of the impression users to determine if the impression users visited a target place during a conversion window. Based on the impression users who were exposed to the ad impressions, the system establishes a control group of users who were not exposed to the ad impressions to perform quasi-experimental analyses to assess whether the ad impressions had any impact on changing the impression users' physical in-store visitation behavior.Type: ApplicationFiled: August 18, 2023Publication date: April 18, 2024Applicant: Foursquare Labs, Inc.Inventors: David Shim, Elliott Waldron, Weilie Yi, Nick Gerner, George Varghese, Andrea Eatherly

Patent number: 10609170Abstract: The illustrative embodiment of the present invention provides a platform that enables a content developer to distribute uniform content to multiple types of requesting mobile devices. By authoring content in a generic markup language and using the technologies included in the Mobile Content Framework (MCF), the content developer is able to provide content to multiple types devices without providing different versions of the content. The content may be authored originally in the generic markup language or translated from other languages into the generic markup language by the MCF. The MCF exploits the capabilities and accommodates the limitations of different types of wireless devices by converting generic markup language content to device-specific content. The MCF interacts with device registries holding records of the device attributes in order to provide the device-specific content. The MCF handles these issues for current mobile devices while also being extensible for future mobile devices.Type: GrantFiled: July 14, 2017Date of Patent: March 31, 2020Assignee: ACK Ventures Holdings, LLCInventors: Michelle Harris, Harry Kargman, Dan Jethanamest, Thomas Leroux, Corey Tripp, Peter Delucia, Lin Hsu, Lee Boyle, Dan Liu, George Yi, Rocio Katsanis, Evan Herbst

Patent number: 10054993Abstract: In an electronics system, an adjustable airflow guide assembly and methods of deploying it facilitate dissipating heat. The assembly includes an extendable plate having a first coupling capable of rotatably attaching the extendable plate to a chassis, a link, including a second coupling, capable of translatably attaching the link to the chassis, and a third coupling capable of rotatably attaching the link to the extendable plate. The extendable plate presents a guide to deflect airflow and is capable of being swung into multiple different fixed positions to divert airflow within the electronics system toward portions of the chassis configured with electronic components that produce heat, such as board solid state drives (BSSDs).Type: GrantFiled: October 5, 2016Date of Patent: August 21, 2018Assignee: SanDisk Enterprise IP LLCInventor: George Yi

Patent number: 9949400Abstract: Systems, appartuses and devices are used for front cable management of equipment modules mounted in equipment racks. One aspect is directed to an apparatus for front cable management generally including a cable management device for a rack-mounted equipment module supported in an equipment rack. The cable management device generally includes an articulated arm assembly movable between a retracted operational position and a service position extending forwardly out from the equipment rack. Another aspect is directed to a system for front cable management generally including an equipment rack and a rack-mount support for movably positioning a rack-mount equipment module on the equipment rack. The rack-mount support generally includes a front end configured to receive a cable management device for routing cables from a cable zone of the equipment rack to a front end of the rack-mount support.Type: GrantFiled: April 16, 2015Date of Patent: April 17, 2018Assignee: SANDISK TECHNOLOGIES LLCInventor: George Yi
