    Abstract: A technique for improving wireless communication characteristics involving matching transmitter antenna patterns to receiver antenna patterns. In a specific implementation, the transmitter antenna pattern adapts to changing parameters, such as when a smartphone is initially held in a first orientation and is later held in a second orientation. Because the transmitter antenna patterns match the receiver antenna patterns, signal quality between stations improves. In some implementations, antennas are organized and mounted to maximize spatial diversity to cause peak gains in different directions.

    Abstract: An enhanced email service that mitigates drawbacks of conventional email services by enabling transmission of encrypted content to a recipient regardless of the recipient having a prior relationship with the sender or having credentials issued from a certificate authority. A method is provided for receiving encrypted content and generating a message includes both the encrypted content as an attachment and a link to enable decrypted access to the decrypted content. The method may include transmitting the message to an intended recipient's mailbox while also storing the message in an organizational mailbox to provide for subsequent decryption of the encrypted content. The link may provide the intended recipient of the message with decrypted access to the encrypted content in various ways depending on, for example, whether the recipient is viewing the message through a webmail browser or through a local mail client that is compatible with the enhanced email service.

The method further includes requesting a peer to suspend remotely initiated RDMA operations that target the virtual computing instance through a first channel, establishing after the migration, a second channel between the peer and the second hypervisor that supports execution of the virtual computing instance on the second host, configuring a virtual object of the second hypervisor on the second host to use the second channel for the locally initiated RDMA operations, and requesting the peer to resume the remotely initiated RDMA operations using the second channel.
