The two wheels (11) and (13), which are themselves driven by rods (9) and (10), make a reciprocating to and fro motion of less than a half turn regardless of the direction of rotation of the drive wheel (1) and drive the wheel (12) followed by the driven wheel (2) via the low speed clutch between the wheels (15) and (16). This system can be applied to any mechanical assembly in which it is required, and is not limited to use in bicycles.

Abstract: A method of air transport includes improved reliability and safety of passengers and cargo transported by an aircraft having three fuselages. The method includes locating a cockpit of the aircraft at a forward portion of the first fuselage and isolating the cockpit from a remaining portion of the aircraft. The cockpit is then shielded and independently pressurized from the remainder of the aircraft by controls housed in the cockpit. The method further includes distributing passengers and cargo among the three fuselages, such as by locating dangerous or suspicious passengers or cargo in the second and third fuselages away from the cockpit. Also, dangerous or suspicious passengers or cargo may be located in the second and third fuselages and, thereby, isolated from the remaining passengers and cargo.

Abstract: Siding boards, shingles, shakes, or the like are applied to the wall of a building by use of a tool having an arm which extends upwardly adjacent the wall structure and is temporarily secured thereto, with the siding or the like then being placed at the outer side of the tool arm, and being supported at a predetermined level by a projection extending outwardly from a lower portion of the arm, so that the siding can then be nailed to the wall structure and the tool can ultimately be withdrawn from its position of reception between the siding and wall structure for use in similarly positioning and securing a next successive layer of siding, shingles, etc. to the structure. Preferably, two such tools are employed at horizontally spaced locations for supporting the siding or the like therebetween.
