  • Patent number: 4875850
Abstract: Gas burner of relatively low power of the blown air and premixture type comprising separate intakes for air and for combustible gas passing into a premixing chamber discharging into a combustion chamber at the level of which the premixture is ignited by means of a lighting electrode, the air intake and combustible gas intake each comprising at least one flow regulating valve. The burner is characterized in that a device having a calibrated orifice of the injector type is provided on the combustible gas intake while a passage of relatively small cross-section, of the diaphragm type, is provided on the air intake. The invention is particularly applicable to installations comprising this burner to serve as a pilot lighting burner.

  • Patent number: 4719878
Abstract: The present invention relates to a process and installation for heating liquids at different levels of temperature, comprising a first vat containing a first liquid heated by an exchanger immersed in this liquid and connected to the exit of a burner, and a second vat containing a second liquid into which a diffusing system is immersed and connected to the exit of the exchanger, while a pump ensures the transfer of the liquid from one vat to the other.

  • Patent number: 4583938
Abstract: A gas burner of the air and combustible gas mixture type includes a flame control cell mounted away from the actual flame. The control cell, by being located away from the actual flame, can monitor the operating conditions of the flame and, in response thereto, controls the flow of air and gas, the firing of the lighting electrode and the regulating of the gas intake valve. The control cell is further protected from the flame and any possible backfires by a pressure differential existing between the injected air and combustible gas mixture.

  • Patent number: 4425902
Abstract: A gas burner associated with a combustion chamber constitutes a fluid-tight removable heating unit immersible in a liquid to be heated. The unit has a caisson including a chamber for premixing and distributing gaseous fuel and a combustion chamber separated from the premixing chamber by a flame stabilizing grate. The caisson has traversed, in fluid-tight relationship thereto, by ducts permitting thermosiphon circulation of the surrounding liquid and increasing the exchange surfaces constituted by the walls of the caisson.
