  • Patent number: 7798989
Abstract: The invention relates to needleless syringe for injecting an active liquid principle. The inventive syringe comprises a container (3) closed by a movable shutter and containing the injectable liquid. Said container is initially insulated from an injector-receptacle provided with a cylinder bore (10) in which a downstream shutter is arranged and which comprises at least one protuberance reducing the section with respect to the upstream opening of the bore. The aim of said invention is to damp and prevent the downstream shutter bounce when it is disposed in the bore (10) of the receptacle.

  • Patent number: 7559920
Abstract: The invention relates to an injection device which may or may not be equipped with a needle, comprising an injection nozzle and a tube which is intended to receive the active substance to be injected, whereby the tube is fixed to the nozzle using connecting means. The inventive device is characterized in that the aforementioned connecting means comprise at least three identical bosses which are solidly connected to the nozzle. Moreover, each of said bosses comprises an inclined part which terminates in a flange, said flange co-operating with a collar which is formed on the tube and acts as a backstop for the tube when the latter is connected to the nozzle.

  • Patent number: 7500960
Abstract: The invention relates to a method of assembling a needleless injection device (1), whereby a plurality of elements forming a circuit of elements is assembled to a body (2). The aforementioned circuit comprises elements such as an initiation device, a receptacle (5) containing an active agent to be injected, and an active agent injection system. The inventive method is characterised in that it comprises a step in which a gas-generating cartridge (6), which is adapted to the nature and/or quantity of active agent to be injected as well as to the skin penetration depth desired for same, is inserted directly into the circuit of elements, independently of said elements, from outside the body (2). The invention also relates to a needleless injection device (1).

  • Patent number: 7404808
Abstract: The invention relates to the realm of needleless syringes used for injecting liquid active substances. Said syringe comprises a reservoir that is enclosed by means of displaceable plugs which trap the liquid. The reservoir is initially isolated from an injector-receptacle (37) which is provided with at least two peripheral injection conduits (38) that are arranged outside the receptacle (37). Said receptacle (37) encompasses a pocket bore (31) which accommodates the plug located downstream such that the optimized inlets (39) of the conduits are unobstructed. The face of the receptacle (37), which is located upstream, comprises a multilobed sealing joint (34) which is disposed parallel to and as close as possible to the edges of the bore (31) and the inlets (39). The aim of the invention is to create an injector-receptacle (37) that is optimized regarding discharging and the resistance thereof to the injection pressure.
