  • Publication number: 20240135974
Abstract: A method includes obtaining lyrics text and audio for a media item and generating, using a first encoder, a first plurality of embeddings representing symbols that appear in the lyrics text for the media item. The method includes generating, using a second encoder, a second plurality of embeddings representing an acoustic representation of the audio for the media item. The method includes determining respective similarities between embeddings of the first plurality of embeddings and embeddings of the second plurality of embeddings and aligning the lyrics text and the audio for the media item based on the respective similarities. The method includes, while streaming the audio for the media item, providing, for display, the aligned lyrics text with the streamed audio.

  • Patent number: 11475887
Abstract: An electronic device receives audio data for a media item. The electronic device generates, from the audio data, a plurality of samples, each sample having a predefined maximum length. The electronic device, using a neural network trained to predict textal unit probabilities, generates a probability matrix of textual units for a first portion of a first sample of the plurality of samples. The probability matrix includes information about textual units, timing information, and respective probabilities of respective textual units at respective times. The electronic device identifies, for the first portion of the first sample, a first sequence of textual units based on the generated probability matrix.

  • Publication number: 20070221289
Abstract: The *GALD07.Y.CONNECTION* is the invention of which the possibility to refuel a vehicle from either left or right side is created. The invention comprised of a fuel filler tube opening on the left side of a vehicle and another fuel filler tube opening on the right side. The two fuel filler tubes are attached by a third tube in the shape of a Y leading towards the vehicle fuel tank through the existing hole. All new as well as used vehicles can take advantage of this invention. Simply make a new opening opposite the side of the existing one for refueling. There is no need to redesign the fuel tank or make additional holes to have both sides connected. The invention shape as a Y would be connected to the fuel tank through the existing hole. The more new and used vehicles equipped with this invention the less the problems of refueling at the gas stations.

  • Patent number: 5995173
Abstract: The present invention relates to a display device based on liquid crystals, comprising a nematic liquid-crystal material (10) with positive dielectric anisotropy sandwiched between two transparent confinement plates (20, 30) each provided with transparent electrodes (22, 32), characterized in that at least one of the plates, (30), defines a quasi-bistable anchoring and in that it is provided with main electrical supply means (40) suitable for applying a temporary electric field to the liquid-crystal material (10) capable of breaking the anchoring on the aforementioned plate (30) and subsequently allowing, due to the effect of hydrodynamic instabilities, various localized orientations of the liquid-crystal molecules (10) corresponding to the preferred orientations of the quasi-bistable anchoring.

  • Patent number: 5357358
Abstract: A bistable liquid crystal optical device includes two transparent plates (12, 14) provided with control electrodes (18, 19), between which is placed a nematic liquid crystal material (20). The transparent plates (12, 14) are surface-treated so as to define two stable configurations of molecules of the liquid crystal material generating respectively two flexoelectrical polarizations having components which are normal to electrodes P.sub.z 1P.sub.z 2 having opposite directions. Devices (30) are provided for applying perpendicular electrical field pulses to the plates (12, 14), said pulses being directed selectively one way or the other.

  • Patent number: RE35870
Abstract: A transport pallet includes a support surface which may be constituted by a support plate (2) or by cross-planks (20) as well as three beams (3a-3c) which are fixed beneath the support surface. The beams are fixed to the support surface by pins (5) having a latch of the bayonet type, which pins are provided to traverse the support surface as well as an upper portion of the beams before being locked by a 90.degree. rotation. The beams are fabricated of an injected plastic material, and the pins, as well as the support surface may be made of any material including injected plastic materials. The beams may include straps (24) which permit fastening of a load (30) onto the pallet (1).
