  • Publication number: 20120031971
Abstract: A product that has the shape of a rectangular parallelepiped comprises at least one metallic part with at least one narrow edge. The product further comprises an electronic tag having an antenna positioned substantially perpendicular to a narrow edge of said at least one metallic part. A paper label is positioned on at least one of the following sides of the product: (i) a side opposite to a side of the product bearing said electronic tag, and (ii) a side of the product adjacent to a side of the product bearing said electronic tag on one of its small sides.

  • Publication number: 20100271795
Abstract: An antenna assembly (AA) for an RFID system comprises a main winding (WM) that extends over a volume (VI). The antenna assembly (AA) further comprises an auxiliary winding (WA), which is concentrated at one side of the volume (VI). The auxiliary winding (WA) is electrically coupled to the main winding (WM) and arranged so that these respective windings produce respective magnetic fields of similar orientation in response to a drive signal. The antenna assembly (AA) can be disposed in a storage space (SP) that is delimited by walls of electrically conductive material, such as, for example, a metal cabinet. The antenna assembly (AA) allows reliable RFID operation within the storage space (SP). The volume (VI) over which the main winding (WM) extends is preferably only 2 to 20% smaller than that of the storage space (SP).

  • Publication number: 20080314980
Abstract: The rack (100) comprises: on at least one wall (105), at least one antenna (110) comprising at least two coplanar loops through at least one of which current flows in the clockwise direction and, simultaneously, through at least one other loop, the current flows in the anticlockwise direction, a signal generation circuit (115) to generate signals transmitted by each said antenna, to generate an electromagnetic field, and a circuit (115) for reception of signals modulating said magnetic field. Preferably, the rack comprises products equipped with electronic tags and paper labels, said electronic tags positioned on one side of the product opposite another side of the product bearing a paper label. Preferably, the rack comprises at least one opening, the circuit for generation of signals transmitted by the antennae being slaved to closure of said opening to read the electronic tags after at least one time interval predetermined according to the time of said closure.

  • Patent number: 4723313
Abstract: An optical signal receiver for operating over a very wide frequency passband having 3dB points at a few kHz and at 1 GHz or beyond, comprises an input stage (Q1, Q2), an amplifier (Q3 to Q6), an output stage (Q7), and a negative feedback resistance (R26) of one to several kilohms. In order to obtain high amplifier gain, the load resistance (R8) of the input stage is increased to the point where it sets up, together with the input capacitance, a lowpass filter pole within the receiver passband, said pole being compensated immediately thereafter by a link (10, C6) between the first and second stages (Q3 and Q4) of said amplifier.

  • Patent number: 4630255
Abstract: The invention relates to an optical wavelength multiplexer-demultiplexer using optical fibers. For a bidirectional three-channel link with two go channels and one return channel the multiplexer-demultiplexer comprises a chamfered link fiber (30) provided with an interference filter (25) and optically coupled with three intermediate fibers (13, 14, 15). A first intermediate fiber (13) is chamfered and fitted with an interference filter (20) and has an optical axis which intersects the optical axis of the link fiber at a given angle (.theta.), while a second intermediate fiber (14) is coupled to the chamfered fiber, with the filter (20) providing multiplexing and demultiplexing between the two go channels. A third intermediate fiber (15 is applied to the cylindrical wall of the link fiber to receive or tansmit the return channel via the filter (25). The multiplexer-demultiplexer is applicable to optical fiber telecommunication systems.
