Abstract: A method and system for manufacturing dental restorations. A mould is immobilized in a fixed orientation. An injection surface is sealed against the mould. Flowable material is injected into the mould and cured to provide a compound stock. Subtractive manufacturing is applied to the compound stock in the fixed orientation to define precise contours in the stock and provide a dental restoration. The stock may be prepared from a blank with subtractive manufacturing while in the fixed orientation. Additional cycles of injecting, setting and subtractive manufacturing of intermediate stocks and moulds may precede subtractive manufacturing to provide the dental restoration. The stock may be immobilized in the fixed orientation in a holder, and the holder used to transfer the stock between injection and subtractive manufacturing. The stock may include asymmetrical features that facilitate immobilizing the stock in the fixed orientation.

Abstract: The invention relates to a prefabricated secure foldable multilayer label intended to be adhered onto a substrate, including built-in security means (13, 23), characterized in that it includes a first flap (1) and a second flap (2), each including a transparent substrate layer (11, 21), said flaps being separated by a folding line and capable of overlapping and being adhered along a first surface (61, 62) of said flaps (1, 2). According to one advantageous aspect, the prefabricated label includes a removable printable sheet (4), which can be used e.g. as a receipt. The invention also relates to the manufacture of said secure label.

Abstract: A modular water supply shut off and by pass system that can be installed in a standard water supply line and used to prevent water flow through the supply line except when the system is activated. The system includes a modular unit having main fluid flow line provided with a remotely actuated valve and a by pass fluid flow line provided with a manually operated valve. The system also has a control unit that includes a timing mechanism that be operated to actuate the remotely actuated valve and allow water to flow through the main fluid flow line for a period of time determined by the timing mechanism. A momentary switch is coupled to the control unit and used to actuate the timing mechanism.
