    Abstract: A method and device for accessing maintenance functions of an aircraft from a mobile maintenance terminal. First, the situation of the aircraft is determined. Then, if this situation allows a mobile maintenance terminal to access a maintenance information system on the ground and the information system of the aircraft, a connection is established between the mobile maintenance terminal and the maintenance information system on the ground and at least one maintenance command intended for the information system of the aircraft is transmitted to the maintenance information system on the ground. If this situation allows the mobile maintenance terminal to access only the information system of the aircraft, a connection is established between the mobile maintenance terminal and the information system of the aircraft and at least one maintenance command is transmitted to the information system of the aircraft.

    Abstract: A method for testing or evaluating the configuration of at least one equipment item in an aircraft includes receiving at least one command to test or evaluate the configuration of the at least one equipment item via a network interface of a less secure part of an on-board information system of the aircraft. The network interface is capable of exchanging data with an information system external to the aircraft. The method also includes encoding the at least one received command and transmitting the encoded command to the secured part of the information system of the aircraft. In response to reception of the encoded command, the at least one encoded test command is filtered. In response to the filtering, the encoded command is translated and executed in relation to at least one first maintenance function of the secured part.

    Abstract: An aircraft wireless network in an aircraft includes a maintenance server, a cabin server, a radio switch, a network switch, and a cabin access point. The network switch and radio switch are configured to arrange the aircraft wireless network according to at least two distinct configurations. In a first configuration the cabin server is permitted to connect to the at least one cabin access point by the network switch and a first aircraft access point is connected to the external antenna by the radio switch. In a second configuration the maintenance server is permitted to connect to the at least one cabin access point by the network switch and a second aircraft access point is connected to the external antenna by the radio switch. In the first and second configurations the maintenance and cabin servers are prohibited from simultaneously connecting to the at least one cabin access point.

    Abstract: The object of the invention is a secure command method and device for controlling an on-board maintenance device, such as a maintenance device installed on board an aircraft, from a remote maintenance terminal. The maintenance device is connected to the remote maintenance terminal by a communication network. After at least one datum representative of at least one command associated with at least one instruction has been received, the received datum is filtered to determine the validity of the command. If the received datum is valid, an instruction or a set of instructions associated with the command represented by this datum is identified in order to be executed. The filtering step is preferably iterative and based on the transmission protocol as well as on the encoding of the datum.
