    Abstract: A system and method for simultaneously running a plurality of air quality sensor units using a centralized station and software to test for field performance upon factory return from field installations, automatically identify preventative maintenance requirements, and automatically calibrate the sensor units and generate quality metric reporting. The centralized station and software include a computer, a manifold, tubes, and cables. A test gas is supplied, wherein the manifold distributes the test gas. Once powered and supplied with test gas, the sensor units are tested simultaneously. The computer runs software that compares the test data collected from the sensor units to determine if any of the sensor units fail standards or produce data that deviates from a mean average range. Sensor units that do not require maintenance are calibrated using test gasses to generate calibration coefficients which are stored within the sensors' firmware.

In another exemplary embodiment, a drug administration device can include a drug holder configured to hold a drug, a dispensing mechanism configured to dispense the drug, and a sensor configured to sense a patient parameter, and the drug administration device can be configured to locally activate the drug at a target location in the patient. In another exemplary embodiment, methods, devices, and systems are provided to assess when operation of a drug dispensing mechanism is complete and to confirm whether drug administration was successful.

    Abstract: A sensor assembly, which may be part of an engine cooling system, senses a condition within an enclosed volume. The sensor assembly includes a mounting structure projecting from a wall of the enclosed volume. The mounting structure includes an opening extending from an exterior of the mounting structure towards the wall and at least one channel extending along an exterior of the mounting structure. The sensor assembly further includes a connector having a sensing portion for sensing the condition within the enclosed volume. A seal seals the enclosed volume at the extension of the connector through the opening. A retaining device has at least one attachment structure that is insertable into the at least one channel. The attachment structure engages the connector such that the connector is non-removable from the mounting structure. An associated method provides the sensor assembly.

The fluid fitting can also comprise a non-conductive element that is coupled to the conductive element in a manner discharging electrons from the conductive body. The non-conductive element can comprise a cavity with an opening exposing a sensing device with a sensing element disposed on a sensing element housing. The sensing element housing can be sealed to the conductive element, but expose the sensing element to the fluid in the fluid pathway.

    Abstract: A quick connector includes a housing assembly for receiving one end of a conduit with an enlarged annular flange and a retainer for locking the conduit in the housing assembly. The housing assembly includes first and second housings which are rotatably and non-axially displaceably interconnected. A rigid top hat is fixedly mounted in the bore in the first housing to prevent axial displacement of the first and second housings. An annular recess in the top hat receives the flange on the conduit. The housings can also be incrementally indexable ribs on a stem of one housing fixedly and non-rotatingly engage an inner surface of a flexible conduit.

    Abstract: A release tool for a quick connector with a radially displaceable retainer has a pair of arms extending from a collar which are normally disposed on axially extending surfaces of the housing of the female component of the quick connector when the release tool is mounted on the housing. A retainer engaging surface on each of the arms is movably engageable with projections on side legs of the retainer to urge the projections and the end portions of the side legs of the retainer radially inward to a position where the projections are disengaged from lock edges on the axially extending surfaces of the housing to allow disengagement of the retainer element from the male component of the quick connector.
