Patent number: 11956154Abstract: Datalink frames or networking packets contain protocol information in the header and optionally in the trailer of a frame or a packet. We are proposing a method in which part of or all of the protocol information corresponding to a frame or a packet is transmitted separately in another datalink frame. The “Separately Transmitted Protocol Information” is referred to as STPI. The STPI contains enough protocol information to identify the next hop node or port. STPI can be used avoid network congestion and improve link efficiency. Preferably, there will be one datalink frame or network packet corresponding to each STPI, containing the data and the rest of the protocol information and this frame/packet is referred to as DFoNP. The creation of STPI and DFoNP is done by the originator of the frame or packet such as an operating system.Type: GrantFiled: May 25, 2023Date of Patent: April 9, 2024Inventors: George Madathilparambil George, Susan George, Mammen Thomas

Patent number: 11947399Abstract: Systems and methods are described in which the location of a tap on the body of a handheld device is determined in real time using data streams from an embedded inertial measurement unit (IMU). Taps may be generated by striking the handheld device with an object (e.g., a finger), or by moving the handheld device in a manner that causes it to strike another object. IMU accelerometer, gyroscopic and/or orientation (relative to the magnetic and/or gravitational pull of the earth) measurements are examined for signatures that distinguish a tap at a location on the body of the device compared with signal characteristics produced by taps at other locations. Neural network and/or numerical methods may be used to perform such classifications.Type: GrantFiled: March 4, 2023Date of Patent: April 2, 2024Assignee: Kibeam Learning, Inc.Inventors: Nelson George Publicover, Alexander Paul Barangan, Lewis James Marggraff, Marc Michael Thomas

Publication number: 20240077276Abstract: An airgun has a high pressure reservoir for providing a pressurized motive gas to a breech to fire a projectile. A regulator is intermediate the high pressure reservoir and a downstream firing pressure reservoir for providing a consistent regulated pressure of the motive gas in the firing pressure reservoir. The airgun includes a bypass line for selectively connecting the high pressure reservoir to the firing pressure reservoir, independently of the regulator. Thus, an operator can select a firing of the airgun with either a regulated gas pressure in the firing reservoir or the pressure of the high pressure reservoir.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 28, 2023Publication date: March 7, 2024Inventors: George Wallace Rodrigues Malheiros, Anthony Thomas Cioppa

Publication number: 20240055285Abstract: A system for controlling of wafer bow in plasma processing stations is described. The system includes a circuit that provides a low frequency RF signal and another circuit that provides a high frequency RF signal. The system includes an output circuit and the stations. The output circuit combines the low frequency RF signal and the high frequency RF signal to generate a plurality of combined RF signals for the stations. Amount of low frequency power delivered to one of the stations depends on wafer bow, such as non-flatness of a wafer. A bowed wafer decreases low frequency power delivered to the station in a multi-station chamber with a common RF source. A shunt inductor is coupled in parallel to each of the stations to increase an amount of current to the station with a bowed wafer. Hence, station power becomes less sensitive to wafer bow to minimize wafer bowing.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 25, 2023Publication date: February 15, 2024Inventors: Edward Augustyniak, David French, Sunil Kapoor, Yukinori Sakiyama, George Thomas

Patent number: 11743319Abstract: A web application has a limit on the total number of concurrent users. As requests from client devices are received from users, a determination is made whether the application can accept those users. When the threshold number of users has been exceeded, new users are prevented from accessing the web application and are assigned to a queue system. A webpage may be sent to the users indicating queue status and may provide their estimated wait time. A cookie may be sent to the client for tracking the position of the user in the application queue. The users are assigned to a user bucket associated with a time interval of their initial request. When user slots become available, the users queued in the user bucket (starting from the oldest user bucket) are allowed access to the web application.Type: GrantFiled: September 29, 2022Date of Patent: August 29, 2023Assignee: CLOUDFLARE, INC.Inventors: George Thomas, Dimitrios Antonellis, Mathew Jacob, Fabienne Heitiare Semeria
