  • Patent number: 10717552
Abstract: The invention relates to the field of feeding devices, in particular for feeding rockets on the ground. A feeding device (4) of the invention comprises at least two mutually complementary feeding connectors (5, 6), a breakable connection member (15) connecting these two feeding connectors (5, 6) together and presenting a breakable section (15c) between these two feeding connectors (5, 6), and a force transmission member (16) connected to said breakable section (15c) in such a manner as to transmit a breaking load thereto in order to unlock the connection between the two feeding connectors (5, 6). During unlocking, a breaking load transmitted by the force transmission member (16) thus serves to break the breakable section (15c).

  • Patent number: 10308376
Abstract: A system for feeding a space vehicle with propellant, the system comprising: an on-board device (100) comprising: a frame (110) having a feed orifice (112) leading to an on-board tank (120); and a valve (130) adapted to act selectively to shut or open said feed orifice (112); a ground device (200) comprising: a feed duct (210); and a control body (240) surrounding a free end (212) of the feed duct (210) and provided with an actuator (250); the on-board device (100) and the ground device (200) being configured so as to be capable of being associated so that, in an open configuration, propellant can be transferred from the feed duct (210) to the on-board tank (120), the actuator (250) being configured so as to control the opening and shutting of the feed orifice (112) by the valve (130); the system being characterized in that said actuator (250) surrounds the outer periphery of the feed duct (210).

  • Patent number: 8505429
Abstract: The invention relates to a separator device for separating the on-board and ground portions of a launcher fueling module, the device comprising: a locking system having a locking finger (50) mounted on the ground portion (22) and having a blocking portion (523), and a locking pin (42) on the on-board portion (21) co-operating by engaging with the blocking portion (523) in order to hold the on-board portion (21) and the ground portion (22) in a locking position. The separator system further comprises an actuation system that, under vertical movement of the launcher (10), enables the blocking portion (523) to be disengaged from the locking pin (42), whereby the on-board portion (21) is suitable for being separated from the ground portion (22). The invention also provides a method of separating the on-board and ground portions of a launcher fueling module, which method is implemented by means of such a separator device.
