    Abstract: A manual scratch repair kit is provided for manually repairing scratches in stainless steel sinks and includes a handgrip having an underside with hook and loop fasteners and a sandpaper element attachable to the handgrip, the sandpaper element having an example grit of 800. Two soft pads are provided for holding and applying abrasive. Two containers of diamond abrasive compound of different grits are provided and the soft pads are color-keyed to the diamond abrasive compounds and/or the containers. The handgrip is sized to fit in the palm of the hand and preferably is relatively soft and pliable for comfort. While preferably the soft pads are color-keyed to the diamond abrasive compounds and/or the containers, other forms of optional identification can be employed as desired, such as printing a large “1” on the first pad and a corresponding “1” on the container of diamond abrasive compound.

    Abstract: A manual method and apparatus for removing scratches from automotive paint finishes by using a diamond abrasive compound applied to a handheld polishing disk/pad which effectively “scrubs” away the scratches. First, a first soft polishing pad is attached to a handgrip; second, an amount of a first diamond abrasive polishing paste is applied to the first soft polishing pad; next one manually polishes the metal trim or paint finish in situ without removing the metal trim from the vehicle by rubbing the metal trim or paint finish with the first soft polishing pad bearing the first diamond abrasive polishing paste. Thereafter, one removes the first soft pad from the hand grip and replaces it with a second soft polishing pad and applies an amount of a second diamond abrasive paste to the second soft polishing pad, the second diamond abrasive paste having a finer grit than the first diamond abrasive paste.

A plurality of resin segments spaced apart from one another and affixed adjacent the lower working surface of the disk-shaped pad body, the resin segments including diamond particles embedded therein, wherein each of the plurality of resin segments is affixed to the pad body in such a way that the majority of the resin segment stands proud of the pad body.

    Abstract: A surface cutting attachment for a powered floor abrading or polishing machine, said attachment having a plurality of frusto-conical blades releasable secured in a support having a complimentary frusto-conical socket. Upon the cutting edge becoming worn the frusto-conical blade can be rotated to present a previously unused part of the annular cutting edge. The blades are mounted on a rotatable plate in equally spaced circumferential intervals and a plurality of plates are rotatably mounted at equally spaced circumferential intervals on a power drive disc.
