  • Machine for transplanting seedlings from coiled cassettes

    Abstract: The present invention includes a platform with a cassette for seedlings which is vertically arranged on a frame, and provided with an inclined groove for retaining the cassette the coils of which are engaged throughout the entire length. A roller is provided at the zone of opening of the cassette cells at which location gripping of the seedlings by a planting unit is effected. The roller has a vertical axis of rotation and adjoins a guide member provided with a helical groove.
