  • Patent number: 11934920
Abstract: A quantum system controller configured to perform (near) real-time quantum error correction is provided. The controller comprises a processing device comprising at least one first processing element; a time-indexed command (TIC) sequencer comprising at least one second processing element; and a plurality of driver controller elements configured to control the operation of respective components and associated with respective buffers and processing elements. The processing device is configured to generate commands and the TIC sequencer is configured to cause the time-indexed execution of the commands by the appropriate driver controller elements.

  • Publication number: 20210377064
Abstract: Systems and methods for permitting DOCSIS 3.1 equipment to operate at higher frequencies than specified in the DOCSIS 3.1 standard. Exemplary systems may be capable of alternating between a first mode of operation that provides DOCSIS 3.1 compatible services and a second mode of operation providing a higher level of service than DOCSIS 3.1.

  • Publication number: 20150096679
Abstract: An apparatus is provided for applying a covering film to a book. The apparatus has a gate mechanism having open and closed states, which in the closed state presents a front surface against which a covering film may be overlaid. The spine of a book is pressed onto the covering film overlaying the front surface. The gate is then opened to admit the book to a space rearward of the gate beyond the front surface, such that the book draws the covering film into that space. A laminating mechanism is positioned rearwardly of the gate top receive the book and laminate the film against the front and rear covers to cover the book with the film.

  • Patent number: 8548457
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus can be used to flexibly allocate RF channels to output ports on edge termination systems. Flexible edge termination systems can include multiplexing modules operable to combine signals together inside of the flexible edge termination system to provide a flexible mapping of RF channels to output ports.

  • Patent number: 8327759
Abstract: A strapping system includes a strap exchanger that is capable of delivering one or more straps to a component of the strapping system. The strap exchanger feeds a strap to a downstream component of the strapping system. A track assembly receives the strap and uses that strap to bundle product. The strap exchanger is capable of repeatedly delivering straps to the strapping system to reduce, limit, or substantially eliminate downtime associated with manually loading straps into the strapping system.
