  • Publication number: 20090038226
Abstract: A child safety window block consists of a block of material of which one face has a tacky adhesive. The block by the adhesive can be affixed to a window frame to limit the opening travel of the window to a ventilating gap which is too small for a child to pass out of the window. One block variation is a design with a push button switch which activates a sounder and which is reset to off by a concealed switch accessible with a narrow pointed tool. Another design incorporates a radio wireless button. The wireless receiver door bell sounder can activate any of a variety of attached security alarm features. Another variation uses a magnet or Velcro as part of the block fastening mounting.

  • Patent number: 6778086
Abstract: An open window security lock consisting of a staff having a suction cup for attachment of the staff to the window which allows a sliding window sash to open a small amount for ventilation but not opening enough to admit an intruder. The staff upper end has a switch to sound an alarm if the upper end is moved away from touching the fixed upper frame. An alarm switch can be a displacement detector, motion detector or vibration detector. The staff length is adjustable. A length clamping can be a detent button, staff wall set screw, metal collar with a set screw, hose clamp, or an eccentrically pinned lever. The alarm may include wireless transmitter communicating with a wireless receiver.

  • Publication number: 20040084599
Abstract: A mixing bucket holding means, subject of this petition for letters patent, consists of gripping jaws mounted on a platform/tray/frame holding a cylindrical bucket container in a manner to resist rotation of the container while a motor rotates a mixing paddle in the contents of the container. A human operator holds the mixing motor and space may be provided for the operator to stand on the frame.

  • Publication number: 20030206103
Abstract: An open window security lock, subject of this petition for letters patent, consists of a staff having means for attachment of the staff to the window. Attachment means may comprise one or more suction cups. The suction cup is connected to the staff and attached by suction to a window. Typically the staff is mounted on the vertical surface of a window pane with one staff end touching an immobile portion of the window frame or touching an upper sash which moves independently of the sash containing the glass on which the suction cup is attached. The other staff end may be free or may be touching a mobile portion of the window frame at its maximum user selected safe protection open value. The user selected safe protection open value is of sufficiently small opening to protect the window interior space from entry by an intruder from the exterior space. The staff prevents forcing the partially open window any further open to gain access to an area.
