  • Publication number: 20140043986
Abstract: A radio communication device may be provided, including: a transceiver to exchange data with a base station; a mode determiner to determine whether to operate the radio communication device in a pre-determined mode, in which a first subset of frames of each multiframe in a plurality of multiframes is reserved for a first group of radio communication devices including the radio communication device for sending data to the base station and/or receiving data from the base station, and a second subset of frames of each multiframe in the plurality of multiframes is reserved for a second group of other radio communication devices for sending data to the base station and/or receiving data from the base station; and a measurement circuit to measure a reception quality of a pre-determined cell in the second subset if the mode determiner determines to operate the radio communication device in the pre-determined mode.

  • Patent number: 5315984
Abstract: A through the wall insulated flue for low temperature venting of radiant heat from igniting combustibles produced by wood pellet, kerosene, fuel oil appliances such as stoves and hot water heaters. The flue assembly includes a protective metal tube, housing a ceramic insulated sleeve that is adapted to surround a flue pipe connected to the appliance, with the tube and insulating sleeve being of a length to be journalled through the wall for venting of the radiant heat. An inside wall plate and a complimentary outside wall plate provide necessary receiving collars for the opposite ends of the tube and insulating sleeve and function to correctly position them from internal wall structures.

  • Patent number: 4543942
Abstract: An insulated flue protective assembly for insertion into a wall opening through which the chimney flue passes. The assembly comprises a square metal base unit having a center opening defined by a ring forming base flange. An insulated thimble is placed within the center opening defined by the ring, and is of a length so as to project to either side of the base unit. An elongated metal cover having at one end an annular flange forming a collar positionable about the ring of the base and which is adapted to receive an insulated sleeve, one end of which has mating contact with one end of the insulated thimble, thus insulating the chimney flue.
