Abstract: A two-component buckle having a male component and a female component, the female component having a housing with a bore located at a mating end of the housing, the bore being oriented along a lateral axis of the housing; and the male member having a keeper element that fits within the bore to latch the male and female components together is disclosed herein. A latching mechanism is slidingly disposed within the housing and includes a latch pawl with a latching leg that is biased over the bore in the housing, serving as a secondary latch to help prevent the keeper element from being inadvertently disengaged from the bore.

Abstract: The present invention provides a sealing device for an opening. The device includes a body that has a first side and a second side. A passageway is formed through the body such that the passageway has a first end adjacent to the first side and a second end that is adjacent to the second side. A sealing member is provided that includes an outer gasket and an inner gasket. The outer gasket is positioned adjacent the first side and the inner gasket is positioned adjacent the second side. A seal connector connects the inner gasket and the outer gasket and the seal connector passes through the passageway. In this way, the inner gasket and the outer gasket are mechanically attached to the ring. The sealing device is configured for use in such applications as sealing the cargo opening on the deck of a kayak.

Abstract: A system and method for assembling and deploying program units to application servers uses cluster deployment flow (CDF) architecture to allow users to automatically deploy to a cluster of application servers. The method in one aspect includes assembling one or more program units for deploying to a cluster of networked servers. The method also includes retrieving information related to the cluster of networked servers, generating deployment descriptors from the information, and deploying the one or more program units to the cluster using at least the deployment descriptor.
