  • Patent number: 7650975
Abstract: A clutch disk arrangement for a multi-disk clutch has a hub rotatable about an axis of rotation and a plurality of friction lining assemblies connected to the hub by a torsional vibration damper arrangement. The torsional vibration damper arrangement includes a central disk element on the hub and a cover disk element on each side of the central element, where the cover disk elements are permanently connected to each other and are connected by a damper element arrangement to the central disk element for transmitting torque. A driver formation is provided on at least one of the cover disk elements and an opposing driver formation is arranged on at least one of the friction lining assemblies. The driver formation engages the opposing driver formation so that the at least one of the friction lining assemblies is fixed with respect to rotation and is axially displaceable.

  • Patent number: 7434672
Abstract: A hub for a clutch disk arrangement having a friction lining unit with a radially inner set of teeth, the hub including a hub element which can be connected non-rotatably to a shaft; a torque-transmitting arrangement connected to the hub element and having a radially outer set of teeth; and a ring-shaped connecting element made of sheet metal and having a plurality of axially extending tabs and a plurality of openings between the tabs. The outer teeth of the torque transmitting arrangement and the inner teeth of the friction lining unit engage in the openings so that torque can be transmitted from the friction lining element to the hub. The connecting element is preferably fixed to the torsional vibration damper and the inner teeth are preferably axially moveable in the openings so that the friction lining unit can move axially with respect to other friction lining units in a multi-disk clutch.

The torsional vibration damper arrangement includes a central disk element on the hub and a cover disk element on each side of the central element, where the cover disk elements are permanently connected to each other and are also connected by a damper element arrangement to the central disk element for transmitting torque. A driver formation is provided on at least one of the cover disk elements and an opposing driver formation is arranged on at least one of the friction lining assemblies. The driver formation engages the opposing driver formation so that the at least one of the friction lining assemblies is fixed with respect to rotation relative to the cover disks and is axially displaceable in a direction parallel to the axis of rotation.

  • Publication number: 20030200830
Abstract: A gearwheel, in particular a chain wheel, for the transmission of torque from one shaft to another, has a form-locking fastening device for fixing it on the shaft in a defined position. The fastening device is a bowl-shaped driver part and has a damping device for the damping of torsional oscillations, the damping device including of a leg spring with two legs which are angled parallel to one another and surround, under prestress, a driver extension on the driver part and a driver nose on the gearwheel. The angular position of the gearwheel on the shaft is defined by the force of the prestressed leg spring, the torsional oscillations bringing about a deflection of the gearwheel on the shaft through a particular angle of rotation in both directions of rotation and therefore being smoothed. The cost-effective and space-saving form of construction of the gearwheel, which forms a structural unit with the driver part and the leg spring, is advantageous.
