The connection device connects the wiper to the wiper arm and further includes at least one connector configured to be secured to the wiper and at least one adapter mounted with the ability to pivot on the connector. The wiper arm extends between a first end designed to be connected to a motor and a second end designed to be secured to the adapter. The adapter and the connector define a closed-section housing for receiving at least part of the second end of the wiper arm. This part of the second end of the wiper arm is configured to contribute to holding the adapter on the connector.
