Abstract: A posable skeleton or mannequin is made by connecting together bones or bone groups by joints which permit posing the skeleton in many positions. The positions might be a selected point in motion or at rest for an individual of the species of the skeleton. Bones are made hollow to keep them light weight and are therefore, cast in two pieces, each of which is provided with alignment means which may consist of parallel pins on the edge of one piece interfitting holes in similar opposed positions on the other piece to assure proper alignment of the pieces. Intermediate the edges, tubular alignment bosses guide screws to threaded connection bosses which allow the pieces to be assembled by screws. Relatively rotating members of the joint are preferably provided with radial interengaging teeth for incremental positioning moving from one side of a tooth to another.

Abstract: A toy in the form of a tossable disc capable of being illuminated and provided with elements to create an auditory sound as the unit is tossed and spun through the air. The unit includes a substantially flat, planar section and an inflatable ring therearound and attached thereto with a chemiluminescent light source positioned on the planar section and a plurality of whistle elements mounted on the inflated ring such that as the toy is tossed through the air the movement thereof will present an auditory sound and the chemiluminescent light source may be activated at the user's desire.

Abstract: A toy ball formed of a single, thin skin and being of light passing material having a source of chemilluminescent light retained therein. The chemilluminescent element is activated prior to insertion or placement into the ball and the element is either positively retained within a structural element integral to surface of the ball or is allowed to lie loosely within the ball. Such a light increases the play effect and useability of the ball during twilight or night hours. For positive placement of the element, the skin is cut to form a door which remains hinged at the uncut portion and normally urged closure of the door results in a holding force applied to the element. Several skin cuts will result in several doors which interact to retain the element.

Abstract: A toy designed for twirling or spinning by a person which not only emits a whistling sound but also includes a light emitting, replaceable unit with the light being emitted therefrom due to a chemical reaction initiated by the user. The toy is provided on a string for swinging of the same about his person with the whistling noise being emitted upon swinging of the same through the air. The unit may include reflective or attraction streamers attachable to the body of the unit and the light emitting portion of the unit is replaceable after exhaustion of the chemical reaction.

Abstract: An article of clothing to which a three dimensional applique is applied to provide a decorative effect. The applique is of a flexible non-cloth material such as vinyl, various plastics or rubber which is attached to the frontal panel of a T-shirt or sweater with the attachment accomplished either through sewing or other positive connectors. The three dimensional applique is formed through various molding processes and the shirt or sweater may be cut to receive the same.

Abstract: The structure for decorating eggs which includes a master package and material for the decorating process. Decorating material is provided in a fluid form and is dripped onto the egg while the egg is being held in a position to allow the decorating material to flow thereover and the material is particularly formulated to be fast drying to will as the same runs over the surface of the egg. The apparatus for supporting the egg during the decorating includes a number of support legs arranged in spaced relation to each other to receive an egg placed thereon and hold the same above a drip tray section. The supports are designed to contact the egg on minimal surface areas such that the dye flowing thereover may substantially cover all of the egg or may be simply applied in decorative stripes or other selected patterns. The egg supporting structure includes the upstanding legs arranged in overlying relationship to a tray for collection of excess decorative material.

Abstract: An article decorating device, particularly for the decorating of eggs, having a formed, article receiving and cushioning surface, a slotted and formed or formable template receivable over the article to be decorated and a cover member arranged to be positioned over the article and template to positively hold the same in position with respect to one another and to the receiving surface during the decorating process. The template is selectively provided with apertures or slots therethrough to permit decorating devices such as pens to extend therethrough for contacting and applying decorating materials to the article.
