    Abstract: In a manually operable cutter which can be set on a table, which cutter includes a thin-walled base presenting a rectangular supporting surface and a lateral cutting edge along one side of the surface, devices defining two holding jaws located in the region of the cutting edge, and projecting above the surface, of the base, a guide rail extending parallel to the lateral cutting edge and held between the jaws, and a cutting assembly including a rotary wheel cutter mounted on the rail for displacement therealong, the devices defining two holding jaws include two one-piece side members each including a respective holding jaw and extending along essentially the entire length of a respective one of the sides of the base which is perpendicular to the cutting edge, each side member being an injection molded plastic member, and supporting feet for the cutter associated with each member.

    Abstract: A stapler assembly frame arranged to be associated with a common office stapler to form a complete assembly, the frame being composed of a pair of two-armed levers pivotally connected at a location between the arms of each lever in the manner of scissors. In the region of their pivot axis one scissors lever is provided with a passage opening through which passes the other scissors lever and the levers provide a fulcrum for each other in the region of the passage opening. The passage opening is dimensioned so that the rear, or pivot, end of the office stapler can be accommodated therein.

    Abstract: In a stapler composed of three parts constituting, respectively, a base plate carrying a staple leg bending anvil, a staple magazine for holding a strip of staples, and an actuating lever carrying a staple driver disposed to drive successive staples toward the anvil, the staple magazine is connected to the base plate by a first pivot connection and to the actuating lever by a second pivot connection, each connection is composed of a pin carried by one part and a recess formed in the other part, the parts are elastically deformable in the region of the connections to permit each pin to be snapped into its associated recess, and the staple magazine and base plate are provided with guide surfaces to limit movement therebetween to a direction perpendicular to the pivot axis of the first pivot connection.
