  • Patent number: 7591097
Abstract: A wall-mounted cabinet style display case for displaying an athletic uniform jersey neatly inside. The back frame of the cabinet is fastened to the wall first. The back frame has a flat open pocket inside and the jersey is neatly displayed by hanging the jersey on uniform specific shaped hangers and folding the jersey inside and around the pocket for proper jersey display length. A completely removable front frame fastens to the back frame by first latching the top back of the front frame to the top of the back frame. The front frame is secured using metal plates on the back of the front frame and opposable magnets located on the back frame.

  • Publication number: 20070171631
Abstract: This invention is a lighting fixture to project even illumination onto flat panels. The fixture is a formed specular aluminum reflector with LEDs mounted to provide even and directed light, with modular connectors and power sources, allowing for variable lengths when combined with field adjustable housings and supports; or when mounted in a fixed length housing, to allow for linear lighting using any number of selectable lengths. This invention provides a pre-determined and directed light pattern requiring no field adjustment. The use of long life, weather resistant light emitting diodes provides for low maintenance and low energy consumption. The use of specular aluminum allows up to 95% of the light to be reflected to the surface, as well as provides heat sink properties further prolonging the life of the LEDs. By focusing all the available light on the desired area and eliminating stray light, lower wattage LEDs can be used.

  • Publication number: 20070084028
Abstract: A casket assembly includes a casket body, lid, and insert. The body may be arranged in at least two configurations, one of which is a low profile arrangement that allows for a reduced shipping volume. The insert is made from a leak resistant material, and fits inside the casket body. The profile of the shipping configuration is not altered when the insert is in place. The lid fits both configurations of the casket body. Handholds on the casket are spaced off-center to better distribute the weight of the contents.

  • Publication number: 20060102772
Abstract: An apparatus for supporting wound flexible media that includes a first flange, a second flange and a fastener. The second flange may be constructed as an integral, unitary structure. A core around which flexible media is wound is typically disposed between the first flange and the second flange. The first fastener has a first end engaging the first flange and a threaded end that is rotatably secured directly to said second flange.

  • Publication number: 20060057522
Abstract: A candle assembly includes a support base, a melting plate having a capillary pedestal, a wick holder that fits onto the capillary pedestal, and a fuel element that fits over the wick holder. The wick holder includes a sleeve having first and second open ends. A wick fits into the sleeve and extends between the open ends. The sleeve has a constricted portion, which is disposed between the open ends and has a cross-sectional area less than any other cross-sectional area between the open ends. The constricted portion reduces an effective capillary fluid flow capacity of the wick between the open ends, which may thereby regulate how quickly fuel is consumed when the candle assembly is burning. A capillary well disposed between the wick holder and the capillary pedestal may be adapted to promote a successful relight after an initial burn of the candle assembly.

  • Patent number: 7001554
Abstract: A durable erosion control blanket featuring a novel synthetic fiber filler is disclosed. The erosion control blanket of the present invention addresses the need for a particularly resilient erosion control blanket through the use of a post-consumer, crimped, polyester fiber filler material. In one embodiment, the post-consumer fiber material is of polyethylene terephthalate (PET) readily available in post-consumer form from the recycling of soda bottles. In short, a preferred filler material for the blanket of the present invention would utilize recycled soda bottle material which has been converted into a crimped, highly-resilient fibrous filler. It is, thus, possible to achieve the desired physical and mechanical properties in the erosion control blanket of the present invention while conserving natural resources to some extent by using a readily available post-consumer polymer material.

  • Publication number: 20060005364
Abstract: A modular drip tray for use in a casket includes a plurality of modules and an overlapping member. The plurality of modules are placed into a casket adjacent to each other and the overlapping member creates an overlap region that spans a portion of the two modules and any gap between the modules such that liquids impinging upon the overlap region will be impaired from progressing beneath the overlap region. The overlapping member may be formed integrally with one or more modules. Each module may further comprise a plurality of discrete isolated compartments for retention of liquids.

  • Publication number: 20050193535
Abstract: A casket assembly for cremation or burial includes a plurality of caskets each having a body and a lid mounted thereon. In one embodiment, the caskets are sized to enclose successively smaller volumes and are nestable with the lids mounted to the bodies. The caskets are sized so that a largest one of the caskets can contain all other ones of the caskets. In another embodiment, nestable boxes are configured to be received within a storage container in a partially folded configuration.
