    Abstract: A heating unit for a corrugated board manufacturing plant comprises heating elements which consist of a comparatively thin heating plate and a supporting structure disposed at a distance from, and below, the latter. The heating plate is supported on the supporting structure by thermally insulating props. Furthermore, a heat insulation layer is disposed between the respective heating plate and the supporting structure.
