  • Patent number: 6333009
Abstract: A heat transfer system is provided, adapted to transfer heat from the flame of the oil lamp to fuel contained within the oil lamp. The heat transfer system has a heat absorbing region disposed near the flame, and a heat dissipating region disposed within the container, connected to the heat absorbing region by a thermally conductive path. If the fuel contains a fragrance, heating the fuel enhances the amount of fragrance volatilized from the fuel.
