  • Patent number: 5165633
Abstract: Covers for concealing tray jacks and thereby enhancing the ambiance of the settings in which those jacks are employed. These covers have a skirt which surrounds the jack and conceals its lags and a multipart upper component which conceals the top of the jack and rests on the latter, vertically positioning the cover with respect to the floor on which the jack is placed. Provision is made for detachably connecting the cover to the associated jack to facilitate the use and handling of the latter. A novel construction of the cover causes the ends of the latter to automatically fold inward and together as the jack is folded to a collapsed configuration. This faciltates the collapsing and handling of the covered tray. The covers may be fabricated from a wide variety of materials, in any desired color, and may bear logos and other designs.
