    Abstract: An enclosure for pets mounted on a single axle with two large wheels and a handlebar, and attached to side frames that provide support in the stationary position. The enclosure is large enough to install lounging platforms and climbing devices for the pets and has an upper area and a lower area. The pet owner has access to the enclosed upper area and enclosed lower area through an uppper access door and a lower access door. The pet is placed in the enclosure through the upper access door and can have access to the lower area through an opening in the floor between the upper area and the lower area. This opening can be closed off by sliding a tray across the floor of the upper area. The enclosure can easily be wheeled to a desired location by lifting slightly on the handlebar and pushing the enclosure to the desired location. The enclosure is made of an open-mesh type material, such as a wire mesh. The lower area can be constructed with solid panels.

    Abstract: A tamper-evident closure for sealing an open-topped container. The closure is of one-piece molded construction and includes a cap having an annular top wall and an annular skirt dependent therefrom and joined thereto about the periphery of the top wall. The skirt has an internal thread for cooperation with the thread on the finish of the container. The closure further includes a tamper-indicating assembly including a band spaced from the skirt by a number of frangible bridges. The assembly also includes a segmented ring connected to the bottom of the band and extending upwardly and inwardly therefrom with the ring including a number of segments with adjacent segments being separated by a slot. The assembly also includes a number of resilient tabs connected to the upper end of each segment and extending upwardly and inwardly therefrom for engaging the breaker ledge of the container finish upon attempted removal of the closure from the container.

    Abstract: A nested, two-piece, child-resistent closure is provided which includes an inner cap having a rigid, non-deformable upper end and a cylindrical skirt with a smooth outer surface and threaded inner surface. The outer upper end of the inner cap includes a series of upwardly projecting lugs arranged adjacent the center thereof. A series of upwardly projecting segments, of a height less than that of the lugs, is arranged about the periphery of the upper end of the inner cap. The outer cap, coaxially aligned with and generally overlapping the inner cap, has a resilient upper end and a cylindrical skirt with a smooth inner surface. Depending downwardly from the inner surface of the outer cap's upper end is a series of lugs aligned with the lugs on the inner cap to provide unidirectional drive means in the closure direction.

    Abstract: A polypropylene closure for glass containers. The enclosure has a top end wall and a depending annular skirt wall. A substantially rigid V-shaped sealing fin of triangular cross-section projects downwardly from the top end wall to engage the finish of a glass container neck in sealing relation when the closure is applied to the container. The closure is threaded onto the container neck and the sealing fin comes into contact with the finish. The application of additional closure torque causes the sealing fin to deform and be crushed.

    Abstract: A closure for glass containers is formed with a top end wall and a depending annular skirt wall. A base ring depends downwardly from the top end wall and supports a small sealing fin which projects downwardly from base ring to engage the finish of a glass container neck in sealing relation when the closure is applied to the container. The preferred base ring is tapered downwardly and outwardly and facilitates the flow of plastic into the sealing fin during molding of the closure. The closure is threaded onto the container neck and the sealing fin comes into contact with the finish. The application of additional closure torque causes the sealing fin to deform and be crushed. Polypropylene has the desired structural properties of flexural stiffness, hardness and compressive strength to be used for the closure.
