Abstract: Systems and methods for recovering from software processing errors are provided. The systems and methods provide for the validation of data following the occurrence of a software processing error.

Abstract: A method and system for monitoring the health of a wireless telecommunication network. Network health is monitored without placing an administrative burden on the carrier network itself; instead, this burden is placed on components that lie outside the carrier network and pass communications through it. The data service provider infrastructure sends a request to a mobile device, asking that it return data regarding its location. The carrier networks handling the request insert location information into the packet that is sent to the mobile device, but this information is not sent to the data service provider infrastructure itself. The mobile device harvests this location information from the packets it receives and inserts it in a response packet that finds its way back to the data service provider infrastructure. The data service provider infrastructure is able to collate this location data and to analyze it, determining the carrier network's health.

Abstract: Apparatus, and an associated method, for forming a roaming network list that identifies roaming arrangements between network operators of a cellular, or other mobile, communication system in which different networks are operated by different network operators. The roaming network list is dynamically created through detection, at a detector, of positional information of mobile nodes that operate pursuant to communications with different ones of the networks of the communication system. An associator associates mobile nodes, by their home networks, with networks with which the mobile nodes are capable of communicating. Associations made by the associator are used to form the roaming network list. Subsequent access to the list permits the roaming arrangements, dynamically determined, to be ascertained.
