Abstract: A self-loading material transporter utilizes a conveyor system having a continuous, flexible conveyor belt. A plurality of rollers is positioned below the upper surface of the conveyor system to support the load bearing portion of the conveyor belt as it passes over the upper surface of the conveyor system. The conveyor belt can be rotated in either a forward or reverse direction to either load or unload the material transporter. The conveyor system may be mounted on a truck, trailer, or other vehicle. The conveyor system may be tilted into an inclined position to load or unload material from the ground or it can be operated in a horizontal position to load or unload material from an elevated loading dock.
